This interesting accommodation, with its traditional limestone construction, is located on the Western Soriano Royal Route which runs all along the foot of the Guadarrama Mountain Range, a short distance away from the Medieval Town of Pedraza, the Hoces del Duratón Nature Reserve and the City of Segovia, a World Heritage City.
It houses nine well lit rooms, all decorated in a simple and harmonious rustic style. The suite has a small lounge- skylight and a bathroom which has an old flavour to it, with its claw foot bathtub and a long baroque style mirror from one extreme to the other.. The lounge-dining room, which leads out onto the garden, is large, bright and decorated in warm colours with original wooden armchairs, placed around the fireplace and providing the perfect atmosphere to relax.
An independent building houses our Banquet Hall and Activity Centre: 50 square metres of open space with toilets, heating, lighting, professional multimedia material, ADSL, Wi-fi, and other state of the art technical resources, making it ideal for Company meetings and Seminars, where it is really possible to enjoy yourself while you are working. Its versatility and naturalist interior decoration also make it suitable for a wide range of purposes: Presenting a product to the press, a Yoga session or, why not... a Civil Wedding with around 30 guests, very pleasant and absolutely different from any other you may have attended.
KITCHEN: For the breakfast-buffet we offer fresh orange juice, coffee or teas, chocolate with “churros”, eggs to suit your taste, toasts with traditional bread, a variety of pastries, salted ham products, cereals, fruit, homemade yoghurts... In the evening, there is a Menu of the Day with 4 starters and 4 main dishes to choose from, based on local dishes with a touch of sophistication and washed down with the vintage wines of Castilla y León.

La Hostería is a small rustic hotel, built in the traditional style and on the road between Segovia, Pedraza and Sepúlveda. The area is situated at the foot of the Guadarrama Mountain Range and at the mountain pass of the Western Soriano Royal Route, with one foot in the mountain peaks (Pico Nevero 2.200 m.) and the other in the meadows that flow towards the land of pinewoods (the Pirón, Cega and Duratón Rivers) Located on the outskirts of Torre Val de San Pedro (a population of 192), it presents a unique setting to be able to discover both the surrounding natural beauty of the area: wild pine forests, oak trees, Holm oaks, ash tree woods, Portuguese oak woods, beech woos, red cedar trees... as well as its culture, full of centuries of history and art. The place has a very rural atmosphere, with lots of fresh air, ideal for couples or for groups of friends.. Quality installations and services, a humble welcome and generous hospitality, this is the philosophy or our hotel.
From Madrid, there are various possibilities depending on whether you are searching for nature, a scenic route or getting here quickly:
1.- If you come along the N- 1, after going through the Puerto de Somosierra (Mountain Pass), at Santo Tomé del Puerto take the turning towards Segovia along the N-110, until you get to the Navafría turning, 5 km. further on, along the Segovia - Sepúlveda road, after 2 km., you will come to Torre Val. Total 134 km.
2.- Leave Madrid towards Colmenar Viejo, Rascafría and Lozoya, go up to the mountain pass as far as Navafría and in just after 5 km. you will come to Torre Val. Total 110 km.
3.- Another possibility is through the Navacerrada Mountain Pass as far as La Granja and Torrecaballeros and after 15 km. you will find the turning for Pedraza and Sepúlveda, which leads to Torre Val. Total 110 km.
4.- Follow the A- 6 La Coruña motorway until you get to the San Rafael exit and there you go onto the N-603 to Segovia. From there, carry on for 26 km. along the N-110 until you get to Torre Val. Total 120 km.

A very nice place to stay. The owner, Pilar, is most helful and very generous in her care for the guests.
There are many interesting and beautiful spots around and all are within a short drive.
We will look to stop here again if we are in the area.
