Hostal Auzoa is situated in the village of Bera, in the Illekueta area. This is a peaceful area, on the outskirts of the village.
The hostel house dates back to 1900, and has three floors :
- On the ground floor we find the bar-restaurant
- On the first floor is the living accommodation
- On the second floor there are , seven en-suite rooms with a TV and lounge-dining room
Activities
Walk along the old Bidasoa railway line for around 11 km.
From San Sebastián and Bilbao:
- Go along the A-8 and take exit 1 and then carry on along the N-121 towards Pamplona
- After 11 km. you come to Vera de Bidasoa, once in the village take the turning towards Francia-Lizuniaga, you will pass the Alzate Square, and its 50 metres further on
We spent many happy hours on the terrace eating and drinking wonderful food served by friendly efficient staff who were able to contend with our limited Spanish it was uniquely Spanish Basque

Hay que empezar por decir que una casa u hotel rural, a mi entender, comprende algo más que una habitación y un baño. Dígase, actividades de algún tipo, o en su defecto información de donde poder hacerlas, información de alrededores, mapas, rutas, etc.
Partiendo de esa base, Auzoa, no es una casa rural, si no un hostal con 6 habitaciones encima de otra vivienda con la que se comparte portal.
Bien es verdad que no hay nada que criticar sobre las habitaciones ya que están bastante nuevas aun

He estado en semana santa en el hostal auzoa, y la verdad que la relacion calidad-precio está muy bien. Es confortable y está muy bien para pasar unos dias. El pueblo y la zona es para repetir sin parar !precioso!

hotel situé dans un petit village basque espagnol à 6 km du col d´Ibardin (soit la frontière franco-espagnole) dans un joli cadre (nous sommes ici au pied de la Rhune !). Les propriétaires sont charmants, c´est propre, on mange simple mais bon ! que demander de plus ?

Itziar y Joserra son vecinos y amigos, pero que conste que no nos ciega la amistad al escribir esto!
Con los años, con ilusión y con mucho trabajo, su bar y restaurante, también Auzoa, empezó a dar ambiente al barrio, y fue y es (incluso ahora que esta regentado por un equipo diferente) parada obligada para todas las cuadrillas.
Su magnífica terraza bajo el plátano enorme y sobre el Cia es uno de los lugares más apacibles y agradables
de Vera, con unas vistas increíbles.
