The Cortijo de Las Piletas is a country house located in the heart of Andalusia.. Only 12km. From the picturesque town of ronda, in the natural park of grazalema, the cortijo allows visitors to explore a great variety of natural environments, both on the property grounds as well as the surrounding areas.
Our guests will enjoy vacationing in a centuries-old building, a magnificent example of andalusian "cortijo," or farmhouse, with the typical rustic style of our traditional regional architecture. The varying greens of mediterranean woods, the brilliant white of the walls and the clear blue of the sky, exude both peace and an unmistakable andalusian flavor.
Beautiful patios and gardens surround the house offering cozy nooks for our guests to relax in harmony with nature. Centenarian trees and a variety of aromatic plants provide cool shade, colours and aromas while we take walks, swim or sunbathe. In the evening, in the gardens near the threshing floor, we can enjoy spectacular sunsets beyond grazalema. Thanks to el Cortijo’s central location in Andalusian our guests can comfortably and easily access cities such as Marbella, at 50km away, (specially attractive for sea and golf lovers), Seville, Málaga, Jerez, Granada, Cordoba Cadiz or Gibraltar (all are within a two-hours drive) and such places of natural value as Sierra Nevada or the National Park of Doñana.

Wonderful, serene enviroment.
Clean and welcoming rooms full of thoughtful details -- comfortable blankets, nice fluffy towels, etc.
Huge delicious breakfasts, wonderful advice for where to go during the day and night, and overall an incredible experience.
Nice big pool area and tons of seating places indoor and out to relax, read, or hang out.
Very close to Ronda where there are lots of restauarants and things to do, but also quiet and away from it all.

We occasionally found this place in september last year when we went for our wedding trip, and just had to come back again! The surroundings are ideal for short trips - either by car to the nearby villages like Grazalema, Zahara de la Sierra and others, or just walking in the beautiful area around the Cortijo. Furthermore - the friendly and helpful hosts, Elizenda and Pablo, also make a stay here very comfortable indeed, not to forget Pablo's cooking.

Delightful bed and breakfast that was relaxed and authentic while still being fully modern and convenient to Ronda and the surrounding mountains. The rooms and the food was outstanding.. We'll come again!
