Within Los Portalones, with stone walls and wood framework inside, this house has been restored with all the conveniences and a high standard of facilities but keeping the traditional, rural style. It consists of a spacious twin room on the ground floor, another one with a king size bed (1,50 m) and ensuite bathroom, a large living-room32 sq. m.with fireplace a big sofa, TV, video, radio-Cd-cassette player, telephone and a balcony overlooking the mountains. The kitchen is fully equipedmicrowave oven, coffee machine, toaster, blender, washing-machine, iron, fridge, etcand a reading room in an attic area above the living-room.. There is also a barbecue in the outside.
Come and practise your favourite sport or just relax listening to music while looking at the fire, watching a video film sitting on the confortable sofa surrounded by a warm and cosy atmosphere, or walk round the oak and pine woods in the Gredos mountains, with the sound of the River Tormes in the background.
Navacepeda de Tormes: in the Natural Park of Gredos, by the River Tormes, the village has one of the most attractive groups of popular architecture in the Gredos area. Its church is a visit you should not miss, with its remarkable tower, the south portico and vaults inside. Near the village, on the Stream Barbellido, the bridge over Pozo de las Paredes (literally, Walls Pool) forms a harmonious union between nature and architecture which you can visit. You can appreciate the true atmosphere of the Gredos mountain villages in its streets, with hay carriages, cattle Streams, peaks, waterfalls, lagoons, pools and woods gather in these mountains.

Hola, tuve la gran suerte de ir por esos parajes de Gredos que no conocía y me encantó. La casa es una maravilla, el dueño le ha dado el estilo perfecto para la zona, además ha sido muy amable con nosotros, nos ha indicado rutas, donde comer, etc. y estoy segura de que volveremos a la misma casa, puesto que hemos quedado encantados y volveremos, ya que no nos ha dado tiempo a admirar en todo su esplendor la maravillosa Sierra de Gredos.

La casa es bonita, decorada con gusto y sencillez,muy limpia y además excelentemente situada para acceder a las principales rutas y paseos. El dueño Jose Manuel atento y agradable te aconseja las excursiones que se pueden realizar desde allí. En resumidas cuentas nosotros también volveremos.
