Las Eras de las Arribes is situated in the tourist area of Arribes, 2 km from Pozo de los Humos, setting off from Senda de las Arribes. It is a lovely rural house, located in Masueco de la Ribera, 97 km from Salamanca, and at 684 m above sea level, covering an area of 19.8 km2.
In Masueco you can enjoy the natural open spaces and the homemade cuisine of Zebadero (a typical restaurant), the local festival of San Bernardo on the 19, 20, 21 of August. You will also be able to see the ancient traditions, experience the friendly nature of the people of Masueco, and totally disconnect from the routine of everyday life.
Activities
One of the first activities we suggest is a boat trip and a swim at the Rostro Aldeadavila beach . The peninsula is embraced by the river, where every peak becomes a spectacular natural viewpoint and a place from which to observe the tranquility of the gentle flow of the River Duero.. On one of the banks of this peninsula we find a place called the "Playa" (or beach), from where you can visit the river by boat to enjoy and lovely trip along its course (a sheltered boat with heating).
How to reach the Playa del Rostro: Follow the Masueco - Aldeadadávila road until you get to Corporario, a village next to Aldea, where we find signposts for the Playa del Rostro on the right .
We can also go on an excursion to Picón de Felipe.
Only a short distance from Picón de Felipe you can visit the Saltos (Waterfalls) .
If you are keen on fishing you will thoroughly enjoy this activity on the banks of the river Uces, and at the same time you will marvel at its wonderful scenery and its windmills that remind us of days gone by.
There is a public swimming pool, 50 m from the house.

Interesting Places
The river Uces, on its final stretch, makes a sudden drop forming a 50 m high waterfall which, when the water level of the river rises, creates a breathtaking sight, produced by the sound of the water as it crashes against the rocks, producing a thick mists, as if it were smoke. Opposite the waterfall, on a high cliff, a natural shelter was formed which Neolithic man occupied, leaving remnants of their stay through the engavings and paintings that were left on its walls and which still today hide a mysterious meaning.
Another worthwhile visit is Mieza with its 18th-century Church and unique belfry. This is the setting off point for a route that leads to Balcón de la Code situated over the magnificent Duero Canyon, and from where you can see the village of Aldeadávila and the road that goes up as far as the Salida de Lineas Viewpoints.
The best views of the Salamanca Arribes are found at the Picón de Felipe. This immense flat rock goes down into the river and has some very straight slopes, which attract many climbers.

La verdad es que la casa esta muy bien y los alrederores son de un paisaje muy especial y bonito aunque no os dejeis guiar por las fotos de las casacadas y los rios corriendo porque no son asi (por lo menos en agosto de este año), ya que los rios son aguas estancadas y estan verdes por culpa de las presas.
Vovliendo a la casa decir eso, que esta bien pero a los amantes de las abejas deciros que hay varios acceso de entrada a las habitaciones desde fuera por los cuales se cuelan cietos de abejas

Yo he estado la segunda quincena de agosto y de las abejas casi ni nos hemos enterado, si es verdad que hay en la parte trasera pero yo en 10 dias las he visto 3 veces y no molestan para nada. La casa es muy bonita y decorada con estilo rural, si quereis descansar del ruido perfecto. Chari es un encanto y teneis de todo , sartenes, cazuelas, sábanas, mantas, secador de pelo, batidora, de todo...Si puedo repetiré otro año.

Estuvimos en la casa unos amigos con cuatro niños en los primeros días de agosto 2008. La casa es estupenda y todo fenomenal tal como se dice en el resto de opiniones. Sín embargo, la casa tiene actualmente un panal de ABEJAS considerable en la ventana de una habitación, algunas de las cuales entran en casa e inhabilitan gran parte del patio trasero al atardecer, cuando vuelven las abejas. Hemos pasado una semanita en esta casa de ensueño y de por nosotros nos hubieramos quedado en ella de por vida.Una casa decorada con muy buen gusto y todos los detalles muy cuidados, cada rincón tenía su encanto.A parte de bonita muy muy limpia,que barbaridad de limpieza!!!! Nuestra nota es un 10 o incluso un 11, porque de verdad que no hay nada que mejorar. Nos hemos recorrido muchas casas rurales de toda esta zona y de Salamanca y nunca nos habiamos encontrado con una casa tan espectacular, he

Salimos mucho a casas rurales y he de decir que ésta nos ha sorprendido muy gratamente. Los detalles están cuidados al máximo y, al estar a las afueras del pueblo y con la gran parcela que tiene es un sitio perfecto para poder "soltar" a los niños.
