On the banks of the river Genal we find the El Manatial which was opened in August 2007. Given its location, five minutes from Genalguacil, fifteen from Gaucín, thirty-five from Estepona and forty-five from Ronda, it offers a great place for an accommodation, and a haven of peace and quiet, while at the same time being close to these towns and villages; isolated, protected by trees and vegetation.
El Manantial has been built with traditional methods , combining to perfection the fine materials, such as chestnut wood and stone, in an unparalleled construction; spacious, with a 100 m2 lounge, 7 m high, with chestnut wooden ceilings, a fireplace, totally functional and top-quality furniture, as well as a TV and DVD.
A very comfortable kitchen, with all the necessary electrical appliances to help you enjoy your stay: fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, smaller electrical appliances and kitchen utensils.
If we go down the wooden staircase we find five double rooms , each with its own complete ensuite bathroom, with a towel dryer, and all very comfortable and functional.

Estuvimos una semana y lo pasamos genial, sobre todo los niños. La casa maravillosa, sobre todo el abuhardillado del salon les encanto a los niños que hicieron de el su cuarto de juegos.La piscina maravillosa y la barbacoa tambien. El patio del cenador fue nuestras sobremesas nocturnas, que hasta llegamos a pasar fresco.
Los dueños Antonio e Ines, son amabilisimos.
Resumiendo fue una semana fantastica y maravillosa, que nos sirvio para desconectar de la rutina.

Hemos estado una semana, inmejorable, la casa fantastica, la piscina impresionante, con unas vistas super relajantes, los propietarios Ines y Antonio,perfectos, todo les parecia poco, el entorno es realmente natural, si buscas paz y tranquilidad es ideal. Para volver.
Hemos estado unos dias en la casa. Aunque la casa en sí está bastante bien, le faltan algunos detalles que a los que acostumbramos a viajar a casas rurales echamos en falta. (jabón de manos en los baños, armarios con algo más que una simple barra, etc). Es además la única casa que hemos alquilado que una semana son 6 noches..., y al plantearlo ni siquiera han descontado una del precio).

Owner’s reply Gracias a las sugerencias de viajeros como estos podemos mejorar la calidad de nuestro servicio.En mi modesta opinión creo que en ningun alojamiento si se alquilan y COBRAN 6 noches (por escrito), por mucho que insistamos te dejan una noche más, ni te hacen ningun descuento.En cuanto a las distancias y tiempo real depende de la velocidad a la que vayas,en ningun momento se engaña en el anuncio, en cuanto al estado de las carreteras son carreteras de montaña, ¡estamos alquilando una casa en el ca... more

Es la mejor casa en la que he estado.
No le falta ni un detalle, es muy grande, nosotros fuímos en Mayo un grupo de amigos con los niños (10 adultos y 8 niños) y fue genial.
Los niños disfrutaron muchísimo, hicimos una excursión por el río... Los dueños encantadores. Perfecto.

Desde luego que se trata de un lugar inmejorable para pasarlo bien con los amig@s o la familia. Respecto a la casa , decir que está hecha pensando en todo detalle, no le falta de nada. Hablar del sitio y su entorno es imposible,,, uno se queda sin palabras en cuanto se asoma a la terraza y ve el rio a escasos 3 o 4 metros,,, inmejorable! :-)
