It is a rural House, in a village, in the border with Portugal, in the spurs of the Sierra de San Pedro. Important area full of Dolmens and birds reserve. Roman Remains. Jewish quarters.
I recommend you this area specially in Autumn and Spring because it is when the fields show their best colours, although in summer this area is very pleasant, nights are some cool ones as it fits the name of their sierra: SIERRA FRIA (cold sierra)
I have to emphasize, to people who are fond of nature, the Berrea season: the Mediterranean forest is filled with sounds which can only be heard in the Dehesa; enjoying the Kingfisher on the banks of the River Salor or the Otters at the River Sever. It is a sight that is reserved to just a few people: those who visit us in order to share the nature with us.

Estuvimos tres diillas en la casita "El Estanque",son muy pocos, pero la verdad que lo pasamos genial.El sitio es muy tranquilo, esta retirado y no se oye nada, ni de dia ni de noche y la casas son muy acogedoras.Sin lugar a dudas repetiriamos
