Ignacio Amián Novales, the husband of Pilar del Pino, offers a wide range of consulting services and training courses in the field of ecological agriculture.
The water from the well is regularly analysed and the results confirm that it is of excellent quality. Waste-water is disposed of using ecological methods, which helps to take care of the environment.

Cuevas del Pino (14 km from Cordova) is a 30-hectare farm which has specialised in ecological agriculture since 1985. The farm lies in the shelter of Cordova´s Sierra Morena (Dark Mountains), forming part of the Plains of the River Guadalquivir.. It is surrounded by irrigated fields, on a site which for long was occupied by Roman villas and Arab orchards.
The farmhouse, which is the home of the owners of the farm, is a traditional building complemented by patios, coach-houses, paddocks, stables, stores, henhouses, and so on. It is surrounded by a hectare of woodland with palm trees, almezos (Celta australis), cypresses, walnut and mulberry trees and many species of Mediterranean flowering plants, as well as a zone of fruit trees where chickens peck at the ground under the hooves of the horses.
The swimming pool, in the middle of the garden, enjoys the beauty and freshness of its surroundings, which also include a shady arbour where you can picnic in peace and quiet. The huge caves, which once were Arab stone quarries, give the farm-yard itself a special and very attractive atmosphere.. Our aim is to care for this wonderful place and to share with you our love of it, since we regard it as a very special part of Andalusia, indeed of our planet. At Cuevas del Pino we enjoy a tranquil atmosphere, simplicity, the beauty of nature and a sense of restfulness, all of it only 14 km from the heart of Cordova.
We have two cottages, known as The Sun and The Moon, which offer you the opportunity to do absolutely nothing but dream. El Sol is part of the main farmhouse and has sleeping accommodation for 5 - 7 persons; La Luna, with its private garden, can sleep 2 - 4. Both are listed by the Department of Tourism of the Province of Cordova as country cottages, and meet all the relevant requirements.

Sin duda no pudimos tener mejor elección! Fuimos 10 chicas a hacer una despedida de soltera allí y alquilamos la casa Sol y casa Lucero. Aunque el tiempo no acompañó y no disfrutamos de la piscina y la barbacoa, estuvimos muy entretenidas. Las instalaciones son ideales para un fin de semana rural (quien quiera lujos que se coja un apartamento). Begin mei 2008 hebben wij 3 dagen verbleven in luna house. Fantastische accommodatie in een paradijslijke omgeving op exact 20 autominuten gelegen van Cordoba. Bijzonder prettig was ook de ongedwongen behandeling van de eigenaresse.

Primeramente agradecer a Pilar la atención y cariño recibido durante nuestra estancia esta Semana Santa pasada, concretamente en la casa Luna. Pequeña, confortable y acojedora casita, lo tiene todo para disfrutar
una semanita del bello entorno donde se encuentra situada. Hemos estado de maravilla Isabelle, Marco mi hijo, mi perrita Lisa y naturalmente yo. Te levantas por la mañana y escuchas el cantar de los pajaritos como se comunican entre ellos...Enciendes la magnifica chimenea que tiene esa

Estuvimos esta Semana Santa. Fue todo fenomenal. Pilar es una persona encantadora, amable y nos facilitó todo lo que necesitamos. La situación de la casa es privilegiada, con unas vistas a la vega del Guadalquivir impresionantes, una tranquilidad que invita al relax y al descanso.La decoración de la casa tiene un toque de rústico muy acogedor. Ideal para desconectar. Además su situación es muy buena, a cinco minutos de la ciudad.

Gracias a Pilar, la dueña. Pasamos un estupendo fin de semana en la Casa Luna. Todo estaba perfecto, la decoración en esta casa es sencilla, fresca, alegre por su orientación y muy agradable; el entorno es inmejorable.. Dormimos plácidamente, nos levantamos con el sonido de los pájaros; descansamos y desconectamos totalmente, ¡ni nos acordamos de encender la TV!, y creo q esa es la mejor señal.
