The Casa de la Cisterna y Arriba is an ancient farmhouse where a tank was built more than 100 years ago to collect water from the snow in winter, and hence its name ever since, “Cisterna” or tank.
In what used to be the stables there is now a lounge-dining room and activity room, seating between 50 and 60 people. The kitchen is fully equipped and we have also preserved the ancient fireplace where any size of pots or paellas can be cooked.. It has 3 complete bathrooms and 6 double rooms, all with exterior windows looking out onto the three surrounding streets.
Ideal for holding both family and friends get-togethers, as well as business meetings, retreats or activities in a very peaceful atmosphere.
The Casa de la Cisterna can be rented per room or by groups
Activities
Matacerdo private: in the same way as families used to come together around the slaughtering of the pig to help in the work or spend some time in the traditional festival, we propose that you organize your own “matanza” or slaughter for your own consumption, you will taste all the pork products and other typical dishes. At the end all the products are shared out among the participants.
Note: the health guarantees are in place, given that the Regional Health Authority it is mandatory that a veterinary surgeon analyses the meat before its consumption

Although we hope that the house is to your liking, you have not come here to stay indoors all the time. Therefore, the first proposal that we make is that you visit the village, Pina de Montalgrao, which even though it is quite small, it is also very interesting.. Ask about the Moorish oven (today there is an exhibition there), the old mill (museum), the church or simply come and see the place where the pigs, boar, donkeys, chickens, etc. are kept.
If you have more time, we propose a trip around the villages of Teruel such as Rubielos, Mora, Albarracín or the capital Teruel, which are all very interesting, and also, during the snow season, the Jabalambre and Valdelinares slopes are just a short distance away.
And if you visit us in the summer and feel like going to the beach, in less than half an hour you can get to the beaches of Canet and Sagunto. If you do not feel like leaving the village, why not go for a swim in the local public pool? .

Magnífica casa rural. Excelente alojamiento. Los propietarios Serafín y Resu dignos de conocer y contar con su amistad. He estado el fin de semana con 6 de mis hijos y varios nietos. Todos han quedado encantados con ganas de repetir.

Unos días inolvidables los que pasamos toda la familia en esta Casa de la Cisterna de Pina, tanto niños como mayores disfrutamos de lo lindo. La casa muy amplia, bonita y limpia, las excursiones muy interesantes, el trato inmejorable. Gracias Serafín y Resu. Volveremos
Este fin de semana estuve en la Casa Cisterna de Abajo: Es muy bonita, acojedora, limpia tiene todas las comodidades y una chimenea enorme. El pueblo es pequeño y tranquilo. Los dueños de la Casa Serafin y Resu son encantadores y muy serviciales, les doy las gracias por el maravilloso fin de semana que he pasado con ellos. Os recomiendo hacer todas las actividades son super divertidas, es una experiencia unica e irrepetible.
Sorprendente. Las dos casas son perfectas: amlias, limpias, confortables. El sitio, tranquilo y, lo que es mejor, dentro del caso urbano del pueblo. El trato, exquisito. Muy recomendable para ir con niños.
