The district of Bestregui is a medieval architectural centre, in a magnificent natural setting, surrounded by peace and quiet.
Only 6 km from Ainsa, at the crossroads between areas of great beauty, such as the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, the Posets Maladeta Nature Reserve, and the Canyons and Mountains of Guara, the ski slopes of (Saint Lary, Cerler), the cross-country skiing (Pineta and Fanlo) and the adventure activities centre (rafting, canyoning, paragliding,...)
It also offers the possibility of enjoying the magnificent views and architectural, paleontological, mycology, hiking and mountains bike routes... starting off practically from the actual door of the house.
This house was restored in 2005 and has all modern-day comforts and a very pleasant handmade decoration, preserving the charm of traditional architecture.

Aínsa is the nearest town with all the necessary services and has also been declared a Monumental, Historical and Artistic Centre with a magnificent set of buildings which have preserved the stone constructions of different periods from the Middle Ages to the 18th-century, among which we can highlight the 12th century Collegiate church with its superb tower overlooking the whole of the Central Pyrenees and the Monte Perdido Massif.
Also, the 16th century castle which houses the Torre del Homenaje (Homage Tower) built in the 11th century, the Eco Museums (to discover the fauna of the Pyrenees) and the Traditional Arts and Crafts Museum. Its strategic location providing easy access to the most important protected areas of the Pyrenees:
- The Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park
- The Sierra y los Cañones de Guara Nature Reserve
- The Posets-Maladeta Park
In the Sierra de Guara you can:
- Visit the caves with their prehistoric paintings in the Parque Cultural del Río Vero

From the National A-138 road in Ainsa or the N-240 in Boltaña, turn off towards Guaso. After 7 kms, going past a crossroads and the entrance to the village (you can see the tower upthere), you will find a wood signpost on the left for Bº Bestregui.
