Characteristics
Inside:

There are four types of rooms in Can Travé, all of them built in a traditional country style: three double rooms and a single one.. Among the double rooms there is a suite which includes a bathroom and a fireplace. The furniture perfectly suits the atmosphere of these rooms: a rural, austere style dominated by the strong character of the stone walls and the ceiling covered by wooden beams.
Can Travé also offers its guests a big lounge/dining-room, fully equipped in order to fulfil their needs concerning leisure and amusement: TV, fireplace, a table for eating, natural light from the outside, a couch, etc. The light of the house is also austere and its warm reddish tones inspire well-being and comfort to our customers.
Besides, Can Travé has a kitchen which remains at the entire disposal of our guests and includes all the necessary equipment to get the most sophisticated dishes with no need to leave the house. Indeed, the kitchen of Can Travé has an oven, vitroceramics, a fridge and, obviously, all the cooking tools which might be needed.
Finally, one of the great advantages of this house lays on its large terrace, most appropriate to enjoy a delicious, fresh summer night, as well as for sunbathing. This terrace is equiped with a big table and chairs, where our guests will be able to taste the most refreshing meals of this summer, as well as a barbecue and a grapevine, from which our clients can pick grapefruit whenever they wish so.
Can Travé is a country house specially suited for those who love the open air, since it was built close to the nature while offering, at the same time, good communications, thanks to its privileged location, at the very centre of the village of Crespià. Can Travé was built in the typical style of traditional Catalan masies (countryhouses), as our guests will be able notice, for instance, in the ceiling rafters, decorated with rhomboidal Catalan tiles, and in the figures carved in stone which decorate the walls.
Thanks to its excellent location, close to the nature, the house is very fresh, and thus it appears as the ideal place to spend the summer holidays, when temperatures begin to mount.
Interesting Places
Can Travé is in the township of Crespià, in the very heart of the nature. In February, the village of Crespià organises a honey fair which we strongly encourage our guests to visit. The house is near a fresh torrent, an ideal place to walk by, and the village church may also be worth visiting.
Crespià is near the main towns of the area of Girona: 15 minutes away from Banyoles, where our clients will be able to carry out activities which range from horseriding or playing minigolf to visiting the Parc de la Draga, etc. They will also be able to experience nautical sports in the Club Nàutic and the famous local lake, which stands as the symbol of this town. 40 minutes away from Besalú, where both the town and township are full of sites of high cultural interest. 30 minutes away from Figueres, where our clients can visit the famous Dalí museum and go shopping into the commercial town centre. 35 minutes away from the beach of Empúries, an ideal place for sunbathing and having an interesting walk around the famous Roman ruins. 45 minutes far from Olot, where lies a volcanic area of an outstanding beauty. 20 minutes far from the township of Serinyà, where our guests will be able to visit the famous prehistoric caves. 30 minutes far from the city of Girona, a must-see, with its inmortal Old Town, the Jewish Quarter (El Call jueu) and the park of la Devesa, which are its main touristic sites. Only an hour and half far from Barcelona, where our guests will be able to stare at the impressive works by Gaudí (La Pedrera, the Parc Güell, the Sagrada Família, etc.) and the Barcelona Forum 2004, the Olympic area, the harbor, etc.
Hemos estado en Can Travé un fin de semana, una colla de amigos, eramos 8 personas y la verdad, no hay palabras!! Nos ha encantado a todos, todo estaba perfecto, muy bien equipada, muy buena distribucion, las habitaciones perfectas, todo super limpio (muy importante). El dia que teniamos que irnos hacia casa, nadie queria marcharse!!! Una cosa mas que añadir, la atencion de los propietarios fue excelente, al llegar, nos estubo guiando por toda la casa,enseñandonos las habitacines, cocina, y cuan

A pesar de que solo hemos estado una noche, esta casa nos ha encantado a todos! Esta super super equipada,no le falta de nada y nuestra corta estancia ha sido de lo mas agradable. Todo muy bien, las habitaciones muy acojedoras,la cocina y baños (3!) superequipados, la chimenea y barbacoa genial, mucha información para realizar actividades.. Y los dueños muy atentos! Repetiremos algun dia seguro!
Hemos estado en Can Travé 5 dias, una colla de amigos, en concreto heramos 7 personas y la verdad, no hay palabras!! Nos ha encantado, todo estaba perfecto, muy bien equipada, muy buena distribucion, las habitaciones perfectas, todo muy limpio y los detalles de las toallas bien limpitas , las sabanas, los toballones de cocina... genial.(el dia que teniamos que regresar hacia casa, nadie queria marcharse!!!)...

El pueblo es muy tranquilo y la ubicación de la casa inmejorable. La casa está muy bien decorada todo esto suena a cuento de hadas, hasta que llega la noche y... las camas son incomodísimas la distribución es muy poco práctica y al tener tres pisos está llena de escaleras. Si vas con niños pequeños es muy incomodo.
Owner’s reply ACLARAR: Desde que la casa està en funcionamieto, ningún clinte se ha quejado nunca de las camas. Respecto a la distribuciòn que comenta la sra.Laura, esta ès la adecuada a los m2.que tiene la casa por planta; y por último la casa dispone de planta baja y 2 pisos, siendo el primer piso la zona diurna y el segundo la zona dormitòrio,por lo cuàl sòlo hay que subir las escaleras para ir a dormir ,o bajarlas para acceder al jardin o a la zona del lavadero. Hem estat 1 setmana a aquesta casa i hem quedat encantats. Té de tot, el lloc es tranquilissim i la casa molt maca.. La mestressa Maria Engracia, molt amable. Tornarem!!!
