Situated in the heart of the Sierra de Segura (Natural Park Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas), in the historical site of Segura de la Sierra, beneath the castle and on the highest street of the village, our accommodations offer you magnificent views over valleys and mountains of the Natural Park.
Besides of enjoying the silence of a different and unknown Andalusia and visiting the narrow streets and corners of our village full of history, you will have the opportunity to undertake wonderful walking tours in a surprisingly undamaged environment with impressive beauty and diversity of
flora and wildlife.

Segura de la Sierra is a perfect holiday place for those who hate crowded beaches and noisy resorts. Birds singing in the morning, the sound of church bells, the smell of resin... Los Huertos de Segura with its cosy apartments is a perfect place for those who want to enjoy comfort, wonderful views at breakfast and to have a good night´s sleep... But those places wouldn´t be as unusual without Anton! His hospitality, warmth and passion in giving hints where to go and what to see are what make us

This was our second visit as we could not resist returning to these superb apartments.. We are now planning our third escape to this wonderful, national park. The views from the castle and the sunsets are spectacular.. The host Anton could not be more helpful and has even translated the menu of a rural restaurant where you can enjoy varied and typical local dishes.. A gem of a place.

We went here for two days last summer(2006).
Really warm welcome, the host Anton is a very nice person who gives really good information about the beautifull surroundings and he knows were you can find the best places for walking and the best restaurants.

The owner was extremely friendly and helpful with excellent advice on things to do in the area.. The apartment was very clean, with all the basics for self catering plus a wonderful view.. A great place to stay if you enjoy hiking, nature and want to experience an unspoilt corner of rural Spain.
