La Galbana is a set of seven apartments, sleeping two or three people in each and situated on the edge of the old part of Vejer de la Frontera, with superb views of the village, the Gaditana coastline and even the city of Tanger, on the other side of the Straits of Gibraltar.
The apartments are located around a series of common areas, such as the swimming pool, gardened patio and a vine pergola , offering hours of sunshine. Each apartment has its own character, giving the accommodation an attractive diversity, which satisfies every preference. Its position on the edge of the village makes parking quite easy all year round.
As soon as you enter its patio, you will find that this is the ideal place to relax, with its simple whitewash architecture combining with its fresh vegetation and the sound of its fountains.
La Galbana is a word of Moorish origin meaning pleasant laziness .

In the surrounding area we find the followingGolf Courses: Monteenmedio (5 km away), Benalúp (20 km away) Sancti Petri... and also the possibility of enjoying other activities such as horse riding, mountain-bikes, hiking, paragliding or wind-surfing.
Interesting Places
As well as the lovely old part of the village, Vejer offers an added interest which is its central location in the Janda district, in the arch that runs from Cádiz to Algeciras. 12 km away we find some of the best beaches on the Andalusian coastline such as El Palmar, the so called German Beach, Zahora, Los Caños de Meca and Conil or untouched beaches like the Sierra del Retín.
Visits to the mountain villages, such asMedina Sidonia or Alcalá de los Gazules, excursions to the ruins of Baelo Claudia in Bolonía (also with its wonderful beach) or the Alcornocales and La Breña Nature Reserves, will all offer the visitor lots of enjoyment for an unforgettable stay.
