Casa Sofia is situated in the village of Escalona (610 m.), within easy reach of the Añisclo Canyon and the Ordesa and Monte Perdido Nature Reserve.
Its privileged location allows you to go on numerous tourist routes, discovering such scenic beauty as that of Peña Montañesa, the medieval San Victorián Monastery, or the medieval village of Aínsa, and other natural treasures such as the Gistaín and Benasque Valleys, and a little further afield, mountains, nature reserves and the Guara and Posets-Maladeta Canyons.
In this natural setting, the traveller will be able to take part in a wide variety of sports and adventure activities.

From the East (Catalonia, Valencia, Murcia): In Lleida take the N-230 as far as Barbastro, and then follow the A-138, towards France.
From the North (Tarbes, Toulouse): Go through Arreau, Saint-Lary, crossing the Bielsa tunnel, the border crossing between France and Spain, and go on to the A-138.

Aunque el tiempo no nos acompañó, el entorno es una maravilla para disfrutar de la naturaleza. En cuanto al dúplex de Casa Sofía: muy, muy espacioso (que se agradece cuando viajas con niños), confortable y limpio. Una estancia muy agradable. Lo recomendamos.
