Four mattresses are made of latex and the others are a mixture. We are aware that the quality of the mattresses is essential and that each person needs a particular one to adapt to their own pleasure
The sheets are white and embroidered. They are perfumed with L Óccitane and ironed with floral Textura water..
We will present you in the room with chocolates and a delightful Belgian hot chocolate set on a welcoming tray.
The delightful bathrooms will also welcome you with shower cream, body shop lotion with aromas of strawberries, vanilla, hazelnuts and White Musk, as well as hand soap from L´Occitane with cinnamon, lavender and orange.
Both brands make their products with processes that please Mother Nature and those inhabiting this planet

Hygienic glasses and toothpaste
Each room has satellite television and a telephone from which you can call the other rooms and, by calling 600, you get reception, you can request the press, a massage, horse riding, lunch or dinner from the restaurant “La Malvasía” and which can be taken directly to your door; or instead, you can try the wine tasting or visit one of the wine producers in the area, a few hours of Paintball or a route through the wild bull lands of Carmona. You also have other services in the vicinity, such as supermarkets, bars, shops, a chemist’s or emergency services
We will provide you with a wake-up service and a nappy changer in the blue room.
A magnificent breakfast presented on a buffet trolley awaits all who stay here. Our breakfasts are made with lots of love and care, and they are all home-made. Chocolate cake, cheese cake and raspberry jam, walnuts and raisins sponge cake. A bowl of different fruits; plums, pears, cherries and apples, which are all ecological and come from the agricultural farm “Las Balsas”, as well as milk and bread. The coffee is also ecological, and comes from Fair Trade.. There are small bottles of oil that you can have with tomatoes in season, also from the agricultural tourism farm.. We have a variety of jams; strawberry, peach, apricot and plum; butter, sugar and honey
For stays of more than two days the house is cleaned every two days and we do so using ecological products.

The location and distribution of the house:
The house has two floors. It is situated on the main street of Castronuño, at the highest part of the village. The main entrance opens up onto the ground floor where we find four beautiful and bright double rooms, decorated with impeccable taste with all the finer details to welcome guests.. Each one has an ensuite bathroom with white towels, gels, creams, soaps, toothpaste and a hygienic glass, as well as magnifying mirrors and hairdryers. The bathrooms in the blue room and in the loft have a bathtub and the others have showers.. Also, the bathroom in the blue room includes a nappy changer
The ground floor extends onto a delightful kitchen that has all the necessary utensils, a microwave, oven, cooking hob, extractor fan, toaster, washing machine and dishwasher. It is followed by a beautiful cupboard. Next to the cupboard, there is a table and straw chairs in bright colours overlooking a large window, giving lots of light. Here we find the inner patio, decorated with a fountain that whispers the sound of water which rises up to the loft. Following on from the table, there is an area for relaxation with beautiful and comfortable armchairs which reaches the garden door.
When you open this door, you will be astonished by its grandiose garden, with a wide variety of carefully looked after plants. It stands out for its cleanliness, exquisite decoration, and when one advances, one discovers the inviting massage room, engulfed in essential aromas and the golden rays of the sunlight, as well as the colours of its walls.
Opposite the massage room there is a wine tasting room and, at the back, a huge front sheltered terrace with pictures that make a reference to the agricultural way of life, a place that is quite refreshing on those hot summer afternoons.
Armchairs, bookcases, tables; some large, others small, and, again, the sound of water as it drops from another beautiful fountain with the heads of lions and angels embracing each other. We have poured rosemary oil in the water and, next to this there are two large magnolia trees, where you would love to stay forever.
It is amazing how one can create an area with such magic!

The apple season starts at the beginning of September and ends in mid November.
The plum season starts at the beginning of August and goes through to the beginning of September.
The pears give their fruit from the end of August until the middle of November.
The ecological vegetable garden has all kinds of vegetables which start to produce their crops from the beginning of August to the end of September.
The farm “Las Balsas” sells its products online.
SUPERMARKET, newsagents kiosk, chemist’s, doctors’ surgery and emergency care in Alaejos, bars, nightclub, store, nursery, taxi rank and Catholic Church with daily and Sunday masses.
THE HOUSE OF THE NATURE RESERVE. With its own bird watching Observatory.
The staff in the centre will give a guided tour and explain the ecosystem created by the meanders of the River Duero as it passes through Castronuño. The picture that is created on the horizon is the dune which has been fossilised by the roots of the Holm oaks that looks like a hat, it might be the second image in the famous story book “El Principito”

VISITS TO SALAMANCA, Toro, Zamora, Medina del Campo, Valladolid and Tordesillas. All these places can be found between 20 and half an hour away from Castronuño. They have all been decisive places in the history of the Castilla y León, and given their artistic and cultural legacy, they are well worth visiting.
La casa es maravillosa así como los propietarios, encantadores. Hemos estado tres familias 6 adultos y 8 niños, todos encantados, los niños felices con su apartamento y nosotros con la tranquilidad que esto conlleva ,relajados.
El lugar es precioso, el restaurante la malvasia exquisito. Un sitio para recomendar.
Hemos estado 13 personas en la casa 6 adultos y 7 niños, la casa es un lujo, le faltan algunas cortinas de plastico para que las moscas no entren en la casa, asi como una pequeña ducha o mangera para refrescar en el patio. Pero por lo general la recomiendo ya que como he dicho es un lujazo de casa asi como los alrededores, al lado del rio Duero, una maravilla.
Casa Rural preciosa, todo muy cuidado y cómodo. Apuesta segura. Muy amplia y con detalles como deyuno, fuente de frutas, TV planas en todas las habitaciones de agradecer.La dueña muy atenta da facilidades para todo. Obligatorio para los amantes del vino. Las cata de vino se hace en la propia casa y no te la puedes perder.Esteban eres un crack!!Sólo por la cata vale la pena ir.Volvemos seguro!!

Hemos estado quince personas, 7 adultos y 8 niños, toda la Semana Santa. Todo genial.. La casa preciosa, limpísima; el desayuno de Mª José delicioso; la cena de "La Malvasía", un lujo; la planta de arriba para los niños, perfecta. Una casa llena de detalles, muy acogedora y muy calentita, con el frío que ha hecho estos días.
Sin duda, una casa para recomendar.

Acabamos de volver de pasar el Puente de los Santos en esta casa y, la recomendamos por encima de todo. Hemos estado 9 adultos y 3 niños, y, después de estar en bastantes casas rurales, esta es la más limpia con diferencia. Aunque intentaras buscar algún resto de suciedad en la casa era imposible encontrarlo. Ya con eso gana un montón de puntos, pero si encima le añades que no le falta ni un detalle en cuanto a utensilio de cocina, mantas, toallas, etc. la casa es perfecta. Además Mª José es un
