This large country house, originally the home of a cotton and silk merchant, dates from the beginning of the nineteenth century.. It is a delightful and charming home, situated in a wooded garden from where you are able to see the sun rising over Mirmande and the surrounding hills.
The large bedrooms decorated in the "Gustavien" style each have en suite bathroom. You can enjoy the fresh local products which are served for breakfast either in the garden or in the dining room overlooking the garden pond.
There are many activities to enjoy in the area: hike in the hills of the Drome, explore Montelimar, visit the crocodile farm.
Le Clos de la Chardonnière is situated close to Orange, one hour from Avignon. You will receive a warm welcome and enjoy a friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout your stay.

My partner & I recently spent 3 weeks driving through France staying entirely in Gites. Dominique & Sonia were immediately hospitable, easy going and friendly. I cannot rate the dinner we had high enough. I am a Coeliac and cannot eat anything with gluten in it - also a Vegetarian! Sonia & Dominique came up with an amazing 4 course meal using lots of veggies from the garden. Superb. The outdoor setting was quite magic.. The room was cozy, their children cute and cuddly... Only nice things to say

A bientôt, j´espère!

Zeer gastvrij. Fantastische en zeer smaakvolle en verzorgde kamers. Heerlijk gegeten. Denk alleen aan de oprit! Zeker als je zwaar bepakt bent.
