You will stay, between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean sea, in the heart of Languedoc, magnificent by its cultural inheritance and wine-growing : the Cité de Carcassonne, gallo-roman and medieval, and the Canal du Midi, monuments registred in the world inheritance of UNESCO, are just 4 kms away.
The Domaine de Maran is an ancient family wine estate. The host house was rebuilt at the beginning of the XIXth century on a site inhabited since the XIIIth century.
The estate offers two bed and breakfast rooms. You enter through the back of the two hectares park, where little by little you discover its pleasantness : mediterranean hundred-years-old trees sheltering the song of the cicadas, walkways,
swimming-pool, ornamental lake, rose garden...
Exit
N°23 "CARCASSONNE-OUEST" on the motorway "Autoroute des Deux Mers" (A 61).
Direction "CARCASSONNE" and after "SAINT HILAIRE" (D 104).
Pass the golf course, the garage "Dyneff", let the next lane 300m on your left, where it is written "Domaine de Maran", and turn 50m further on your left (white gate).
