Suzy and Bernard Lemanissier will be happy to welcome you to their family home located in peaceful, green surroundings in the town of Rosel, a few kilometres from the centre of the city of Caen. This large house is a former farmhouse, typical of Normandy, made from Caen stone (the same stones used to make the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey) with exposed oak beams.
The building dates from the late 18th century, and the current owners purchased it on a whim 25 years ago. They have since renovated it lovingly, preserving its traditional character and using local stone.. They have named it "La Gran ´Caye", which means the Large House.
The property’s large walls enable gusts to rest and relax in the garden in peace and quiet, protected from all vehicle noise.
