We enjoyed returning to the Quinta and the local village after each day of driving around the area doing the tourist bit. We originally booked for only a week but after the disappointment of 3 days in a Quinta in the Douro Valley (which cost 50% more than Sao Miguel) we returned for four nights to a very warm welcome (and a much better breakfast including fresh orange juice right off the trees in the garden) from Antonio and Sylviana. We intended staying 2-3 nights and ended up staying 9 days in September 2005! Quinta Sao Miguel is ideally situated to discover Northern Portugal. In less than 1 hour drive we could reach Porto, Guimaraes, Braga, Barcelos, etc. The beautiful beach at Vila do Conde is only fifteen minutes away.. Every morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast. Thanks again Antonio and Salvyna for your wonderful hospitality.

Es muy recomendavle tanto por la situación de la casa (Porto, 30km. Braga,50km. Miño 70km, Vilana del Castillo, Vi do Conde, Guimeraes...) como por la casa en si, preciosa. El trato que nos dispensó Antonio Rodrigues como el resto del personal fue muy bueno y acogedor. Vamos a pasar informes a nuestros amigos.

Hemos estado 1 semana en la Quinta de São Miguel y nos hubieramos quedado un mes mas! Si en las fotos es bonita, la realidad es aún mejor. La cantidad de árboles frutales que tienen, la piscina preciosa (además de segura para los niños) y la amplia habitación que tuvimos, ya que eramos 2 adultos y 2 niños pequeños, con su baño con bañera de garras de león, nos han hecho felices estas vacaciones. Même s´il est un peu difficile de trouver la Quinta, cela vaut la peine d´y arriver. L´hôte est très accueillant et prépare de très bons petits déjeuners. Belle demeure ancienne réhabilitée avec goût. Chambres de tailles variées mais toujours confortables.
