Stones collected in the Verdon river have been carved by Pascal to hold flowers or recessed candles. Molded by nature, each rock is different in size, shape, and color. The stones give an organic feeling to the Inn´s terrace and rooms

Your hosts will serve you an enjoyable breakfast on their second-floor-covered terrace while you have a spectacular view of the Verdon River Gorge and the rugged limestone mountains around you.. Dinners and picnic lunches are available by reservation but are not included in the price of the room.

Nancy and Pascal welcome you to their Bed and Breakfast Inn in the hamlet of Chasteuil. They have renovated the old village schoolhouse into a cozy inn where restful accommodations and delicious meals await you.
Chasteuil is a 16th century hamlet located at the entrance of the Gorges du Verdon. From its south - facing location, 900 meters high in the Alpes - de - Haute - Provence, it overlooks the Verdon River below. The Grand Randonnée number 4, an important and scenic hiking trail, crosses through the hamlet and passes by the foot of the Inn.
The Chasteuil Bed and Breakfast Inn is an ideal base from which to explore the countryside of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
Take D952 towards Castellane. Pass through La Palud/Verdon. After you pass by "Pont de Soleils", continue towards Castellane, 3.6 km & turn left onto the small road marked: CHASTEUIL 2.5 km. Follow the Gîte/Chambre signs to our house
From Castellane - 20 min:
Take D952 towards Moustiers, Les Gorges du Verdon. After 8 km turn right onto the road marked: CHASTEUIL 2.5 km. Follow the Gîte/Chambre signs to our house
From Nice Airport - 2 hours:
Follow the "A8" signs from the Nice Airport: 0.6 km from the first roundabout at the airport exit to the A8 turn-off and another 0.6 km to the A8 toll entrance. Drive 20.5 km towards "CAGNES, CANNES" to Exit 42. Take route N85 through Grasse Centre to Castellane, following signs for "Grasse Centre" or "DIGNE".. Follow the "From Castellane" directions to our Gîte de Chasteuil.
