Situation:

The accommodation is set in the heart of the Doramas Rural Park, in the middle of some superb deep green natural scenery.. There is a lovely viewing gallery which offers guests some astonishing panoramic views and the possibility of understanding a not so distant past.
The house is in the form of a “terrera” or L- shaped bungalow , and invites guests to visit many of the ancient architectural features of the Canary Islands’ agricultural environment, stone buildings, pointed wooden roofs, brown clay “musleras” tiles,…. Comfortable rooms surrounding a large patio, evoking all the charm of years gone by.
There are 16,000 square metres of land , divided up into agricultural areas (orange and lemon groves, apple trees, plums…) in a protected area crossed by country paths, offering a wide variety of smells, colours and sounds, as well as the sight of many autochthonous species, such as the Escobones, Granadillos, Codesos, Veroles… You are guaranteed total tranquillity.
It is our wish to welcome you to a project , today a reality, that started two years ago with the purchase of a house built more than 100 years ago. Here, its dry stones, which make up its walls, were like an open book, showing us a way of life where physical effort, perseverance and the total harmony with the surroundings were all the requirements needed to bring up a family in a rural setting.
Take the GC 1 towards Las Palmas, and then take the GC 2 towards the town of Santa María de Guía. When you get to this town, take the GC-70. This road takes you up to the Montaña Alta, from there we carry on along the GC 70 road towards Fontanales.
When we get to kilometre 16.800 there is a turning on the left, which leads to the centre of Lomo de Las Quemadas. This junction is marked by the presence of a house with a number 5 and with a Virgin Mary on a small structure covered by tiles.
After going down for around 1200 m along the tarmac road of Lomo de Las Quemada, you come to two sharp bends on the left, and a small lane, with a lamp post at the beginning, which leads to the accommodation.
The access to the rural house Los Escobones is along this lane, taking the first turning on the right, the land is situated in the Barranco del Pinar.

Pasamos un fin de semana muy romántico en esta casa. Se encuentra en un lugar precioso, en el que disfrutas de absoluta intimidad, incluso en la terraza, donde puedes tomar el sol sin en unas hamacas estupendas.
La decoración es exquisita, todo estilo rústico.
La cocina completamente equipada.
La ducha con una presión de agua estupenda
La propietaria es muy amable.
A mejorar: una pequeña piscina o jacuzzi sería genial¡¡
