Traveller, your aim is to find the perfect destination. If you think that Gran Canaria only has the sea as its main attraction, just wait until you get to know its beautiful countryside. Las Calas is situated in the centre of the island, surrounded by fruit trees and lovely gardens, which are responsible for its magnificent colours at this time of year. Its cuisine offers age old traditional Canary Island dishes of the highest quality. A good way of tasting these will be by having a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Make the most of the fact that the warmer temperatures are just around the corner and what about breakfast in the outdoor eating area, next to a refreshing pool.
Las Calas is a large 17th-century Country House or “Casa Solariega”, situated in the heart of Gran Canaria. It is set in the lovely Caserío de La Lechuza, in the middle of the San Mateo vale. Its reconstruction has preserved all the features of the traditional local architecture. Perhaps the greatest asset to this hotel is its design. A well achieved combination of wood and stone, geometrical shapes and warm natural colours, where structural classicism blends in with a modern interior decorative style.
The Hotel Rural Las Calas, has become the destination of numerous travellers in search of a different alternative to the traditional tourist hotels on the Islands. It has been rescued from its forgotten past, and carefully restored paying special attention to every minor detail in order to offer the traveller a comfortable and pleasant stay. Each room has been designed in its own exclusive way. They are all fully equipped and combine minimalist design features with antique furniture from the island as well as its intrinsic Moorish influence.
The interior decoration will astonish you with its furniture and materials that come from practically every corner of the world, achieving unique styles and atmospheres for each room. Located in the Las Cumbres Nature Reserve, this is the ideal place to enjoy nature and try your hand at the many activities surrounding the rural world of the Islands, Recovering Sensations.
Come and try out our BRAND-NEW SWIMMING POOL at the Hotel where you can cool off on those hot summer days

Ruido...ninguno!! Se dormía de mar
