The rural hotel El Navío is situated 40 m above sea level and on a banana tree plantation with 75,000 m2, bordering with the sea.. It is a privileged area with a mild climate, between 23 and 28 degrees, 360 days of the year.
Outside the farm has tropical crops and farmyard animals, as well as a path leading down to the coast.
Inside there is a lounge, bar, reception, patio, parking facilities, barbecue and a lovely dining room where you can taste our own home-made island dishes.

From the hotel, you can go to the coast across the land, 200 m away and there are several coastal routes.
Interesting Places
Acantilado de los Gigantes (Giants’ Cliff) : huge rock faces of up to 800 m high.
Here we find several small villages from which various routes depart such as the Masca, which goes down a canyon as far as a black sandy beach which is also accessible from the sea.
Small boats come to these clear crystalline waters which offer controlled visits of the cetaceans , diving, deep sea fishing or other watersports.
The village of Los Gigantes , 6 km from the hotel, has a marina, shops, restaurants and leisure areas.
El Teide: 50 km from the hotel hotel, is the highest mountain in Spain and the highest volcano in Europe (3,718 m).
This national park is of great scientific interest because of the large number of autochthonous species that are found in this unique area in the world and because of its favourable location for astrological research.
When you get to the village of Alcalá, carry on for another 800 m until you find the first turning on the right which leads you to the entrance to the land.
Celebramos el cumpleaños de mi madre en este magnífico hotel. 13 adultos, tres niños y tres perros. Gustavo nos trató como reyes, muy amable y cortés con todos nosotros. ¡Hasta con los perros!
La comida fué una maravilla, felicidades al cocinero.
La casa en general muy bien pero lo mejor, el paseíto a la costa entre plataneras.
Mi madre salió muy feliz de este hotel.

Meine Freundin und ich wollten ein paar Tage abseits des Massentourismusses ausspannen und haben mit El Navio ein kleines Paradies gefunden. Die kleine inhabergeführte Anlage liegt mitten im grün einer gepflegten Bananenplantage, die sich bis zum Meer erstreckt. Die Zimmer waren ursprünglich die Unterkunft der Bananenpflanzer, die bereits damals einen traumhaften Blick auf La Gomera hatten. (Wenn man sich umdreht sieht man den Teide).
