A typical Canarian house situated in the centre of Alajero, next to the Town Hall, the Church and the town square. This house dates back to the XVIII century and has maintained many of the original decoration details from its initial construction, for example the old wood stoked oven in the kitchen (now just for decoration).. One of the bedrooms has the original wooden larder, now restored and used as a wardrobe.
The rooms are large and are furnished with a combination of restored antique furniture, together with modern pieces of rustic style. At the back of the house there is corridor leading to an interior patio and which links up to the sister house Don Pedro I, a few metres away. This still has the original stone floor and is enclosed by glass windows.
Situated next to the town square and the Church of Salvador (XVII century) and in front of the Town Hall. There are a wealth of things that visitors can enjoy from this area, such as walking in Garajonay National Park, to swim and sunbathe in Playa Santiago, buy fresh fish in the Port of Santiago, and all within a short distance of each other.
