The house is over a hundred years old and retains many details from former times, like the original stone benches found in the old house and now used to decorate the gardens.. Inside, in some areas of the house, the original stonework has been left in view for decorative effect. The house has a wooden beamed roof and wooden windows and doors.. There are window seats, a detail from the original design of the house.. The decoration inside the house is of a high quality.. The furniture is wooden and rustic in style.. There is a collection of crafts from La Gomera such as ceramics and basketware, as well as some paintings by local artists.. The house is bright and is filled with natural light.. There are splendid views of the Roque Cano and of the agricultural valley of Ingenio from the bedrooms and living room.
Situated in an agricultural zone of few houses and many palm trees. The house lies on the roadside that links the area of El Ingenio to the town of Vallehermoso.. Close by are the reservoir La Encantadora and the church and recreation area of Carmen. This is an excellent location for the many walking routes of Vallehermoso.
