Los Draguitos Rural House is built in the traditional architectural style and is over 100 years old. It is situated in the south east of the island of La Palma, within the municipality of Villa de Mazo, in the Caserío de Malpaíses, around 350 metres above sea level, 13 km from Puerto de Santa Cruz, La Palma and 11 km from the airport.
It is situated in the peaceful and pleasant area of Villa de Mazo, surrounded by agricultural land of mainly vineyards, which is where it gets its famous wines.
Los Draguitos has a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge-dining room with satellite TV, sofa bed, dining-room table, a reading area with a rocking chair, hydrotherapy bath, three bedrooms with the typical Canary Islands balconies, offering lovely views.
Outdoors, there is a large terrace with views of the sea, and from where one can see the north-east of the island of Tenerife. There is also a swimming pool, sunroof, barbecue, a small garden, vegetable gardens, and outside bathroom with a shower plate and washing machine, an irrigation tank and a barn to store the farm tools.
It will take you more or less 15 minutes by car to reach the “casita” or small house.
From the airport, turn right towards Mazo.
Carry on along this winding road for around 4 km until you get to the main road.
At the STOP sign, turn left towards MAZO Y LOS CANARIOS LP-132.
After 2 km, you will see a windmill or "Ceramicas el Molino", carry on along the main road until you get to CUEVAS DE BELMACO (Belmaco Caves). After the caves, around 150 m further on, on the right, you will find a red house called CASA LOS DRAGUITOS.
There is off street parking for two cars and somebody will be waiting for you at the house.
FROM THE PORT OF SANTA CRUZ DE LA PALMA
Go towards the south east along the Avenida del Puente
Turn right at Ruta de Los Volcanes de la Palma
At the roundabout take the first exit along the Carretera de Bajamar/Ruta de Los Volcanes de la Palma
Continue along the Bajamar road
Carry on along the left of the LP-1. Then turn right towards Los Cuarteles/Zona Industrial/Los Cancajos.. Now take the road on the left towards Los Canarios (Fuencaliente)/Los Llanos/San Pedro. Move into the right lane and turn off towards Los Canarios (Fuencaliente)/Los Llanos/San Pedro. Take the second exit at the roundabout along the LP-1.. Turn left onto the LP-132
Carry on until you get to the Belmaco Caves
And 150 m further on, on the right, you will find the Los Draguitos Rural Accommodation.
