House´s occupancy The house is very quietly situated, splendid sunsets over the sea. The house was decorated visionedly with many love and taste inspired through the location of the house, nature and the sea, that this island surrounds.
The house was renovated by the owners affectionately and adapted to the landscape. With a history of more than 100 years this house belongs original to a Portuguese and was taken then by "Tia Lucila" who had fled of the Spanish civil war. The house was assigned to today´s owners by mentioned Aunt "Lucila" and will carry for her to honors her name today..
The house is surrounded by a little Finca with fruit trees at the lower end of the house that was cared as well and laid out lovingly. With a pitched roof, a terrace that is roofed in with bricks fit in wonderfully into this typical landing style. The roof of timber, as well windows and doors were made with traditional work done by hand..
The structure of the kitchen is overtaken from the 50th, a cooker hood and a window that was restored lovely of teak timber are used as a dining table. From the living-room one get on a terrace with a water well, parking lot, grill possibility and one old washing stone which remembers with its engraving of 1940 to Tia Lucila. The terrace with garden furniture makes it possible for the visitor to enjoy the quiet of the island and watch the lovely sunsets in the evening.

The house is situated in Erese a zone that is dedicated to farming.. Earlier, this area was rich in corn cultivation, lenses and vegetables. Today the house is surrounded by figs- bulbs - plums and orange trees.. From the house, one gets fast on the main street that Erese connects with Guarazoca.
Within approx. 5 driving minutes, one get to the most beautiful vantage points of the island, the Mirador de la Peña, splendid view on the Golfo and the Roques de Salmor. The house is situated once for guests who love nature and look for the quiet.. On days with clear visibility one can overlook the north of the island and also the island La Palma.

El pasado noviembre 06, estuvimos 11 dias en casa tia lucila. La casa, espectacular, el trato de la dueña, inmejorable, por supuesto el entorno, las vistas, los pueblos, todo increible.Unas de las mejores vacaciones que he disfrutado. Os lo recomiendo 100%. Si vais a Hierro, ir a Casa Tia Lucila.

Ursprünglich hatte ich das Haus für den 1.5.06 - 18.5.06 über Meridiano Cero ( www.ecoturismocanarias.com ) gebucht. Die werben für das Haus mit den Worten "Sehr ruhig liegend, man taucht ein in ein Meer von Ruhe und Gelassenheit".
Nachdem ich die erste Nacht in dem Haus verbracht hatte, bin ich für den Rest des Urlaubs in ein anderes Haus in Isora gewechselt. Der Grund:
