Ca Olivares is a unique, typical Valencian house, which is over a century old and is located in the centre of L`Alqueria de la Comtessa, a peaceful village, lined with orange groves, situated three kilometres from Gandia and its beaches and at the foot of the Safor mountains.
Ca Olivares still preserves much of the flavour of the old Valencian houses, with its wooden Flanders beams, high ceilings, thick stone walls, painted walls, its patio and furniture which brings back memories of the history of this house...
Ca Olivares has been carefully furnished with everything necessary to offer you a comfortable and pleasant stay, its three comfortable and air conditioned rooms , its two functional antique bathrooms, its large lounge with a TV, two sofas and four armchairs around a cosy fireplace, its bright dining room with its large windows overlooking the gardened patio and which also has another TV and an enormous fireplace, its fully equipped kitchen with all kinds of electrical appliances and a large and complete set of kitchen utensils, will make you feel at home in an atmosphere that has a very different charm due to its peculiarity.

Visit the Palacio Ducal and the Collegiate Church Seo in Gandia, the Xàtiva Castle and the old town, the Santa Maria de la Valldigna Monastery in Simat, as well as the one in Alcoi, a true example of Valencian Modernism.
The City of the Arts and Sciences of Valencia with the Hemisférico.
The Oceanographic Museum and the "Principe Felipe" Science Museum 50 minutes away.
The "Terra Mítica" Theme Park in Benidorm 45 minutes away.
Also Ca Olivares will recommend places that will offer you the real Valencian gastronomy.
By car:
- Take the AP-7 Motorway and exit at 61 Pego - Oliva, then follow the signs towards L´Alqueria de la Comtessa. Once you reach the centre of the village go to the Casa de la Cultura, opposite which you will find the Ca Olivares.

Authentique, centrally located in the village we spent 6 comfortable nights in the well equipped house, cooking and eating, making excurions in the surroundings. It was veery nice an deveryone was very helpful and serviable, it turned our easy and smooth like vacations should be !
So much remains to be discovered int eh regoin, may be we will return !

Vinimos desde Madrid a pasar cuatro días de Mayo y nos fuimos deseando volver. Ca Olivares es como la casa de todas y cada una de nuestras abuelas, un lugar donde refugiarse cuando la rutina te asfixia. Lo mejor: el chocolate con mona de bienvenida, las partidas de parchís en el patio, el tacto de las sábanas cuando caías rendido... y la hospitalidad de Elvi y Juanma. Muchas gracias por todo. Volveremos.
És una casa molt acollidora, netíssima, tranquil·la, silenciosa...; molts detalls estan contemplars perquè els que han fet l´opció de llugar-la se sentin el màxim de còmodes. Molt d´agrair la informació que es troba sobre la casa en si mateixa i sobre l´entorn, el complet equipament de la cuina, els detalls puntuals dels propietaris envers els llogaters, etc.
A large house full of personality. Everything in perfect order. Fantastic atmosphere. Friendly welcome with 2 huge baskets of oranges. Very good informative material in the house.

Estuvimos mis amigas y yo pasando un fin de semana en Ca Olivares. Es una casa con mucho encanto, además de limpia y bien acondicionada. La recomendamos firmemente para pasar unos días cerca de Gandía y en una zona tranquila.
