La Labranza is situated on some agricultural and hunting land, in a peaceful area of Castille, with a lovely view of the surrounding cereal crops and vineyards. La Labranza is the perfect peaceful hideaway, 86 km from Madrid, situated very close to the banks of the River Alberche, the ideal place to discover nature without having to travel long distances from the capital, Madrid. Situated 30 km from Talavera de la Reina.
The building is an old farmhouse , set around a central patio-courtyard, overlooked by the old granaries and stables. The whole building was fully restored in 2006 by the architect D.J. María Sierra Leguina, preserving all the style of the 19th century. In one of the granaries there is a permanent exhibition of contemporary art , where you can buy a painting at a very good price.
During the hunting season, we organise small game hunting.

Escalona: with its beautiful arched square and castle on the banks of the Alberche.

Nos alojamos el fín de semana de la exposición internacional canina de talavera. El trato dispensado por fernando y su mujer fué amabilísimo. Mari nos hizo un día la cena y estaba estupenda, a precio muy razonable. Tranquilidad total, un 10.. Limpieza muy correcta.
Como anécdota: íbamos con nuestra perra y se nos extravió por el monte toledano de alrededor de la casa: Fernando nos ayudó espontáneamente a buscarla con el 4x4, por unos fangosos caminos en unos lluviosos dias de Mayo y conseguimos

mi familia y yo (que somos 15) hemos pasado la noche del 31/12/07. buscabamos un alojamiento con encanto y que se pudiera cenar y lo encontramos en esta casa. el trato de fernando y su mujer ha sido excepcional y la comida buenisima y mucha cantidad.
la casa es mas bonita que en las fotos.
fuera de la casa solo se oyen los pajaros y en el cenador que hay jugamos durante toda la tarde, un lujo para los que somos de ciudad.
la chimenea daba mucho calor y le daba un aire muy bonito a la estancia

Estupenda. Todo lo que te puede arruinar una estancia, por muy bonita que sea la casa, aquí funciona de maravilla: la limpieza, la ducha que sale con presión, a buena temperatura y que no mancha el suelo por los costados, la casa calentita y acogedora cuando fuera hace un frío tremendo.... en fin, ninguna pega, al contrario. Pero lo mejor es la atención que te dispensan Fernando y Mari. Son encantadores y siempre están dispuestos a facilitarte todo y te hacen sentir como en casa. ¡Y que decir de

Casa acogedora, con todos los ingredientes de limpieza, calor e independencia deseables cuando vienes de la ciudad. Si se busca tranquilidad, paseos por el campo, aqui se encuentra. Mary y Fernando ofrecen un servicio excepcional y muy valorable en estos dias. Saben estar cuando hay que estar, facilitar las cosas y sobre todo sentir que estas como en tu casa. Gracias por esas comiditas y cenas tan tan ricas.

estupendo lugar para pasar un fin de semana con amigos, la comida estupenda, sobre todo el bacallao dorado. Muy recomendable, tambien con niños.
