Located in Castilleja de la Cuesta, the house is near the Palace of Hernan Cortes. Venerable summer residence of the Dukes of Montpensier, the Hacienda of the Sacred Family or "House of the Marquis" is the former property of the Marquis of the Reunion of New Spain and today the House of Culture and Municipal Library.
Within this complex, declared a cultural monument (main house, central patio and working patio, olive mill with weighted tower, spacious herb and flower garden), the present-day owners have restored this house for comfortable lodging.
The linteled entrance is a pair of wooden doors, traversed by a "postigo"(door within a door), fronting a patio laid our with mosaic cobblestones interspersed with flowering plants
The house consists of two stories and a balcony over the entrance door. The entire house and its environs have been meticulously restored, maintaining all the original décor of ironwork, moldings, wooden doors, and wooden beamed ceilings
The décor includes furniture and objects of the period, carefully selected to complement the architecture of the house which is both agreeable and comfortable
The independence of the house, fronting its patio, gives this exceptional residence a quality of rest and intimacy.. And its proximity to Seville makes it a privileged location indeed

A lovely place near Sevilla where i found a Spanish tipical house that gave me a wonderfull calm ambience to enjoy my holidays! I think it´s the perfect place to stay when visiting Sevilla.

Maison très agréable, bonne communication avec le centre de Séville, de nombreux commerces à proximité. Un détail qui a son importance : les lits sont super confortables. C´est beaucoup plus agréable que l´hôtel.
Maison andalouse ancienne très bien entretenue et propre.
Assez spacieuse. La propriétaire avait mis à notre disposition draps et serviettes de toilette.
Bonne situation pour visiter Seville en bus ; la station se situe à même pas 5mn à pieds... (bus conseillé pour ce style de déplacement car circulation et encore plus stationnement extrêmement difficile (hormis les parkings payants). Nous avons été un peu surpris de trouver un jardin beaucoup plus petit qu´il n´y parait sur les photos du site

Pase unos dias inolvidables en esta Casa con mis hijos. Mucho mejor que en un hotel y con un jardin muy agradable. Macarena, su dueña, nos atendio de maravilla, Muchas gracis, volvere en cuanto pueda.

Esta es la segunda vez que paso mis vacaciones en esta Casa , la primera fue en Navidad con mis hijos y ahora he vuelto con unos amigos para conocer la Semana Santa . Deciros que estoy muy contenta . La Casa es buena , comoda , muy agradable y con un buen precio . Lo mejor lo cerca que esta de Sevilla , dejas el coche en el parking y coges el autobus y en un momento estas en el centro de Sevilla . La atencion
