This singular construction is dotted with:
Two apartments fully furnished and equipped (> 100 m2) for 2 to 6 persons.. Bathroom, sitting and dining room, different bedrooms, kitchen, etc...
Unique spaces with an atmosphere of absolute silence and relax.
On the first floor the building with a basilica character breathes an atmosphere of a Moorish temple. A sensation which persists due to the great amount of divisions and the forest of pillars that maintain two rows of semicircular arches. Nevertheless this exceptional construction was mainly focused on industrial activities.
The chapel authorized by Pope Inocencio XII in 1697 and dedicated to “The Virgin of the Ice”, was in use till the end of last century.
Los Pozos de la Nieve, a building with an extraordinary character, is at your service for all kinds of cultural activities (expositions, concerts, etc.) and social events, celebrations.
Due to its orientation north, two big pits “ The ice pits of Constantina” were constructed to maintain ice produced in small pools outside, during wintertime, providing ice to the Seville City. Striking is that these pits are incorporated in the building, to form one constructional, harmonious site.
On the façade one can still find the ‘escudo of Seville’ dated from 1696 and referring to the time when the building was property of the city. Below the escudo is a marble plate with inscription that the Ilustrisimo Cabildo y Regimiento of Seville bought the building, with its wells and water, in 1684, the period when Carlos II was the King of Spain. Got the privilege in 1694 of his M.R. to produce ice, a purpose for which the building was particularly suited.

Los Pozos de la nieve, a building which age is lost in time, considering its physical aspect we could suspect a religious origin, but from its recent history which is documented we could identify it as an industrial building and storage place of ice to supply the town of Seville, to which it belongs already ever since the XVII th century, proof of this is the spectacular shield we admire on the facade. The above mentioned construction, which has been awarded with a price and a special mention by the local Authorities and the Europa Nostra Awards 2006 in recognition of a valuable contribution to the conservation and enhancement of cultural heritage.
Activities
Los Pozos de la Nieve is stationed in a property of seventy thousands square meters, magnificent indigenous forests of elms, chestnuts, oaks, olive-trees etc, well conserved, inside the natural park of Sierra Morena.
Due to its continental climate, nice summer temperatures and soft winters, Sierra Morena is considered an authentic breathing space for the capital of Andalusia and its populated surroundings.
It has a wealth of wildlife on its slopes, a beautiful and pleasant countryside, with its small rivers (Rivera de Huéznar) running through to the Guadalquivir between pine forests and cork trees.
The country house is located at 1,5 km.. from the Sevillian town Constantina and at 75 km. from the airport of Seville, connected with an excellent transport network.
From Seville City you drive direction Madrid (High way E-5)
At Carmona you take the exit 506 direction Lora del Rio and afterwards following the indications to Constantina.
You cross Constantina till the junction Cazalla de la Sierra - Alanis, where you will meet Los Pozos de la Nieve.

Tranquilidad,paz,diversión...y así infinidad de buenas sensaciones que he vivido en este maravilloso lugar.Pero por encima de todo ,felicidad, ya que sus propietarios(mi segunda familia)me han hecho sentir tan bien que pienso volver a repetir la experiencia.Quizás esta opinión no sea tan objetiva como las demás,dado que lo que me une a este sitio es mucho más, no es sólo el hecho de haber liberado el estrés, sino que si no hubiera sido por sus dueños, no habría disfrutado de la misma manera.Pue

Al entrar en los Pozos de la Nieve uno no puede por menos que sobrecogerse por las dimensiones, la carga histórica del sitio, la buena restauración que los propietarios han hecho con estilo, cariño y gran respeto por lo que el edificio significa.
Los 2 grandes pozos impresionan y le imprimen caracter al lugar.
Cuando entras en los apartamentos todo se vuelve luz, la que entra por los ventanales y sobre todo la que entra a raudales por el tejado acristalado.

Sin duda una estancia inolvidable, tanto para mi como para todas las personas que me acompañaban. El lugar rezuma historia por sus paredes, pero sin que esto signifique la renuncia a las comodidades que un establecimiento de este tipo debe disponer. Ademas, su situación nos permitio desplazarnos por toda la Sierra Norte, sin necesidad de hacer muchos kilometros.
Este es un ejemplo de como una simple estancia puede convertirse en una experiencia por si misma.
estuvimos creo que elfinde mas frio del año ypor el nombre nos creiamos que pasariamos frio pero los apartamentos son calidos aunque minimalista lo cual hace mas magestuosa laconstruccion la cual nos dejo impresionados por su bellesa ydimensiones siendo a la vez acojedor y espectacular calidad precio maravillosa

El alojamiento es fantástico. La rehabilitación llevada a cabo es impresionante. Más de 100 m2 para ti solo. El edificio es de aquellos que te deja sin habla y te impresiona profundamente.
El trato, correcto y amable, con una predisposición a arrelgar aquellas pequeñas pegas que, como en todos los sitios, pueden surgir.
Con amigos, mejor que mejor. Muy recomendable para una estancia relajante, para olvidar la ajetreada vida de ciudad y reposar el espíritu, charlar en buena compañía junto a una
