"Las Candelas" Rural Apartments is a new building situated in a peaceful location in the heart of nature, and from where one can see that Cantabrian Sea.
Its large garden area makes it the ideal place for children to play, for you to sunbathe or dine in the open air, and there is also a private car park. Fine materials such as stone and oak have been used both in its interior decoration and construction, creating a rustic atmosphere and at the same time making it practical and modern.
Each of the apartments sleeps between 2 to 4 people and has been specially designed to make your stay very pleasant and peaceful without losing out on all the modern day comforts. Its privileged and strategic location makes it the ideal point of departure to carry out any type of activity or visit the most beautiful places in the region, the beaches, mountains, villages...

Oreña belongs to the municipality of Alfoz de LLoredo, where we also find other very picturesque villages, such as Novales with its own micro-climate giving it the possibility of growing its lemons which give the fragrance to which we associate the picture of the whole of Cantabria.
In Novales we find Ciguenza with its baroque style San Martín Church , of great artistic and historic interest. Cobreces, on the way to Comillas with the Cistercian monastery of Viaceli and its fine white sandy beach.
In Oreña we can see the San Pedro Apóstol Church, where pilgrims used to stop on their way to Santiago de Compostela, the Romanesque church of San Bartolomé and the Virgen de la Guía Chapel, which was once also known as "Las Candelas".
IDEAL LOCATION It is located in a privileged setting and in the heart of nature, as you can see from the photos. Oreña is in one of the nine valleys of Cantabria (Alfoz de Lloredo) and is situated close to all the beautiful tourist attractions:
Estuvimos en Diciembre del año pasado una semana y volvimos a repetir seis días en Semana Santa; creo que eso significa mucho, que hemos estado tratados e instalados como en nuestra propia casa. Tiene la Q de calidad muy merecida.. Un abrazo para Dori. Carmen y Adrián.

En primer lugar, queriamos agradecer a Dori su amabalidad y hospitalidad, a pesar de que nosotros llegamos bastante tarde el viernes, nos atendió maravillosamente. Decir del apartamento en el que nos alojamos que era una preciosidad, con todo lujo de detalle, todo lo que pudieras imaginar o necesitar estaba al alcance. Precioso lugar desde donde puedes estar viendo el mar al atardecer. Muy bien situado para moverte hacia cualquier lado. La casa super cuidada, todo en perfecto estado, como nuevo. Todo tipo de menaje y de detalles que hacen que te sientas cómodo.. La dueña, Dori, encantadora, solo tienes que llamarla para que te eche una mano con lo que necesites. Mis hijos se lo han pasado de maravilla. Volveremos! Gracias Dori. Un beso de parte de Angel, Alicia, y los gemelos Alvaro y Diego.
Hemos pasado 14 días estupendos. Para mí fueron muy importantes las opiniones de los demás a la hora de elegir alojamiento (¡se trataba de las vacaciones de verano, no de un fin de semana!)y me veo en la obligación de devolver el favor a quien lo necesite. Todo precioso, superlimpio, lleno de detalles...(y lo dice alguien muy exigente).. Una pena no disfrutar más de la casa si aprovechas para ir a la playa y hacer excursiones. Nos ha faltado tiempo. Hemos pasado 5 días en el apartamento y ha sido fabuloso. Mucho espacio para las 4 personas que ibamos, limpio, menaje super completo, muchas muchas toallas, unos sobaos para desayunar, flores frescas en el salón, caramelos... unas muy buenas camas con sábanas agradables, el porche con unas vistas al campo y el mar de fondo increibles, una pasada y encima muy cerca de muchos lugares de interes turístico, y Dori se ha portado MUY BIEN con nosotros, nos ha tratado como si fueramos familia con much
