The house is divided in two floors Places -- 8 plus 2 spare beds Rooms -- 4 double ones with bathroom Big lounge with a closed fireplace, television set and some sofas Complete equipped kitchen with fridge, washing machine, microwave oven Living room with a mesa camilla (round table under which a heater is usually placed), armchairs Balcony and porch which look out onto the Roman road (the very street where the house is placed). Every room has two areas: the sleeping and resting ones Rear courtyard The house was built approximately in 1.747. It has two floors with porches and balconies that look out onto the Vía de la Plata (name of the street)

Calzada Romana rural house was built approximately in 1747. It is possible that the remains of some ancient Roman buildings were used in order to construct this rural house. It has been restored always respecting the typical characteristics of the architectural typology of this municipality.
Handmade baked-clay bricks have been used for its restoration. Some beams of the house have been retrieved from the very house and other ones have been brought from places over 500 years old.

Nosotros somos una familia de Barcelona que cumplirá en agosto del 2008 su cuarto año de estancia en esta casa rural. Para nosotros forma parte de nuestra vida y suspiramos por volver el mismo día que nos vamos.La casa es una maravilla y Lola y Pedro son dos personas muy atentas que saben cómo cuidarte mucho y bien. Los alrededores son fantásticos y se come estupendamente.

Somos un grupo de 10 amigos de Segovia. Estuvimos el fin de semana del 4 al 6 de Mayo. Es una casa maravillosa y muy acogedora. Está ubicada en un entorno privilegiado para ver y sus alrededores también son preciosos. Nos gustaría repetir, nos hemos sentido como en cas, o incluso mejor!

Hemos pasado un fin de semana fenomenal. Eramos 12 personas (6 adultos y 6 niños)y hemos disfrutado un montón. La casa es preciosa, amplia y muy confortable. Los dueños muy amables y atentos en todo momento. Los alrededores también muy bonitos: Candelario, Miranda de Castañar, Mogarraz... todo cerca y con mucho encanto. Posiblemente repetiremos.

Estuvimos en los Carnavales de 2006. Dos matrimonios con dos hijos a los que se unió otro. 12 personas en total. Sin problemas. Casa muy amplia y acogedora. Buena calefacción. La mejor casa rural en la que hemos estado y llevamos varias. Muy recomendable. Nos nevó mucho y los niños disfrutaron mucho. Posiblemente repetiremos.
