The owner´s comments
It is located in the spot of Sear, in San Pedro de Bordons, Sanxenxo. Its antiquity is thought to date from the year 1591, although there is a later inscription from 1742. It is sited in an ideal spot to rest and for leisure; ten minutes far from the beach and with some excellent trekking routes.
You can gain access to its interior through a large gate which leads into an inner courtyard where there is a baroque balustrade which borders on another small courtyard where the stone flight of steps ends. The winery, the raised granary, the dovecote and the canalisation into the mine have been preserved.
Less than two kilometres away, you can find Sanxenxo. This is a tourist town par excellence where you will be able to taste good meals, go to any of its beaches or take a stroll in a summer night. Combarro has been recognized as a picturesque town par excellence. It is sure that its row of raised granaries which are practically over the sea and the wonderful promenade between both harbours will make you enjoy an unforgettable experience. Bayona is a fishing town just as the previous two ones. You should visit the state-run tourist hotel as well as go up Santa Tecla mountain from where you will see an Iron-Age settlement (Celtic culture) and contemplate part of the river Miño at ease. Islands which are worth seeing such as: Ons, Cíes, Toja or Arousa ones.
There is also the great walk among rocks in San Vicente do Mar.
Once you are on the road of Areas (before arriving in Sanxenxo), you will see a sign that indicates to turn right. Continue this track and you will find other two signs (a short distance between them) which will lead you up to the house.
