The Cortijo Las Minas is a Andalusian farmhouse which is over 150 years old and which has been renovated and converted into 4 totally independent accommodations: Casa Principal (sleeping 4), Casa el Palomar (sleeping 6), Casa las Trojes (sleeping 6) and Casa el Pajar (sleeping 8), with separate unconnected entrances.
They share the communal areas of the swimming pool with a Jacuzzi, a children’s play area with swings and other recreational equipment, five-a-side football pitch and sports area, farm animals, etc. The original farmhouse has been preserved as much as possible with its beamed ceilings, clay floors, wooden windows and doors, making the whole house quite cosy and with the maximum comfort.
The farmhouse is 3 km from Caravaca de la Cruz, set on a slope surrounded by pine trees, olive trees and apricot trees on 240,000 square metres of private land, fully fenced off for the peace and quiet of our guests. From the accommodation you can see the whole of the Caravaca farmlands and its old part with its castle-sanctuary at the top of the town.
All the accommodation of the Cortijo Las Minas has the Q Certificate for quality tourism .
Activities
On the property there is a farm with animals (Goats, rabbits, chickens and donkeys for rides)
There is an area for agricultural tourism activities (Vegetable plantation, potatoes, collecting of fruit, fruit and vegetable preservation, olives...), with a person who is in charge of this area and will explain the different sections
Less than 2 km away there are hiking areas which are included in the European routes
You can go horse riding , have riding classes in the riding club

In the outskirts of the city we find the Las Fuentes del Marques, a lovely area of hundred-year-old trees and streams
Torreón de los Templarios (Templar Tower), today an information centre for the surrounding nature
4 km. away we find the Encarnación with its Roman archaeological centre, one of the most complete in Spain
Moratalla is 5 km. away, with its mountains and the landscape of the Puerta, together with its Penitent Festivals and running of the bulls in June
Take the Western exit to Caravaca from the Noroeste motorway, at the roundabout situated at the entrance there is a tarmac road that goes towards Lorca-Barranda and after around 100 metres there is a signpost for ALOJAMIENTOS RURALES CORTIJO LAS MINAS. Go along this lane on the right, and it will lead you to the farmhouse after around 150 metres from the signpost
Es una casa estupenda, totalmente equipada,limpieza total, tranquila y próxima al pueblo de Caravaca, sobre todo y lo más importante es que nuestras mujeres han estado muy cómodas y les a encantado. Solo puedo decir en nombre del grupo de 8 personas que hemos estado.Excelente, para recomedar.
Hemos pasado alli la Noxe Vieja, y con diferencia la mejor de todas... No tienes tiempo de aburrirte. Un diez en todo, alojamiento, limpieza, instalaciones...
hemos estado en este puente de pilar un grupo de 13 personas (5 de ellas niños), varios de nosotros llevamos años alojandonos en casas rurales, y os aseguramos que esta es la mejor de todas con mucha diferencia,las fotos no le hacen justicia, es mucho mejor. Ideal para ir con niños, se lo han pasado bomba, no querian que nos fueramos, tienen de todo para ellos, han jugado al futbol, al baloncesto, en el parque, no han parado, se lo han pasado genial. La perfección en turismo rural: muchísimo mejor la realidad a las fotos: situación clave: al lado de todo en un minuto, impresionante entorno natural con vistas y paseos increíbles, casa inmejorable en limpieza y dotación, además con exquisito gusto, equipamiento exterior único para deportistas y niños: geniales las pistas de tenis y fútbol, no paramos en todo el fin de semana.

Este veramos hemos pasado un grupo de 7 matrimonios con sus hijos (11 niños) superrrrrrrrbien. Las tres casas muy cuidadas, muy limpias y muy equipadas. Paco el encargado muy atento, agradable y amable, cualquier cosa que le solicitamos o preguntamos nos atendia de inmediato. La piscina una pasada. Los niños imaginaros la semana "bomba-cañon", seguro que repetimos
