From long time ago, we are an agriculture family but, in order to be able to continue living here, we had to look for an economic help with the Rural Tourism. We have got a privileged situation , we are placed in the heart of Catalonia, we are one hour far from Barcelona, just another one from Andorra, we are close to the ski tracks , and not far from the beach..., being here you can know Catalonia and enjoy yourself doing whatever you choose among lots of the possibilities.
We also provide information and recommend you short excursions by footpaths round Vallferosa. They make you discover wonderful corners like the greatest dolmen of Catalonia, the big defence tower of Vallferosa (considered the European military masterpiece architecture, in the century X), small villages, and so on.
You can find our extend property in the middle of the calm mountain surrounded by forests. Apart from the house where we live, we have restored two houses more, so we have obtained a very complete tourist complex, which is able to satisfy the most exquisities.
Ca Fustegueres – (independent - complete rent)
It is an old small house capable for 2 - 8 people ´with 150 useful m2. The house was restored attending the ancient structure, but at the same time we have equipped it with all the present comforts like bath, television set, and conditioned air in each room.. Ca Fustegueres also has its own swimming pool, a multipurpose room and a big hall with the kitchen and fireplace in. Talking about terrace or garden does not have sense in this case, because there are trees as far as your sight can reach.
The Collita – (rent by rooms)
It’s an old, large and comfortable house, dated in the century XVIII. It is equipped with a games room, a living room, a meetings room (25m2), a working room (65 m2), (This room could be used for courses), and a big dining room. There are eight bedrooms with bath, television set and conditioned air in each one.. Outside there are a great landscaped zone with a swimming pool, soccer, small-golf, tennis, basketball, tennis table, a familiar agricultural museum, and so much nature embracing the entire house. We also offer you, the possibility of bed and breakfast or dinner too with a quality homemade food which is elaborated with products from the property and cooked all of them with the most traditional recipes. All of this is joined to a very familiar treatment. Your holidays will be by sure, an unforgettable days. The Collita is suitable for groups and familiar or company meetings.
Cal Cristòfol - (independent - complete rent)
It is an apartment, capable for 2 - 4 people, with two bedrooms, a bath and a hall with a kitchen and fireplace in. Its direction to the south, and its spectacular view towards the Vallferosa valley, give luminosity and a special enchantment him. With the restoration, we have been able to create very cosy spaces, which perfect suit to couples who look for tranquillity and rest, in paradise surroundings. The Collita and Cal Cristòfol share the same outside, where the only sound it is heard is the one of the birds, and in the horizon, the vision of the union between the sky and the Earth is what you can see..

Interesting Places
Vallferosa Tower. A true marvel that overwhelms everyone who visits. It is considered a wonder of military architecture from the 10th Century and is situated in a spectacular setting.
The Old part of Torà, where we find the well looked after narrow medieval streets.
The Dolmen Route. Three megalithic dolmens, one of which is the largest in Catalonia.
The medieval cemetery of "Nens Xics", with its 16 tombs built into the rock.
The Route of the Castles. We find ourselves in an area with the greatest number of medieval fortresses, many of which can only be visited from the outside, although there are also many that provide guided tours at given times.
The Romanesque Routes (especially Olius i Cellers). Each fortress had its Romanesque church.
The Solsano Dioceses Museum , considered one of the most complete in Romanesque art.

We rented Casa Fustagueras, a separate house at the premisses of La Collita. It is a beautifull house, very spacious and with your own swimming pool. The family runs this place with a lot of love and hospitability (there was a fresh baked tortilla and a cake in our fridge, and grandma was bringing fresh vegetables almost every day).

Hemos pasado una semana en la Collita y ha sido estupendo. El Joan i la Roser son super agradables y atentos. Nos fue genial todas sus recomendaciones para visitar sitios y la verdad es que hemos visto de todo, rios, castillos, museos, pantanos...Respecto a la casa...perfecta. Limpia, nuestra habitacion super grande (perfecta para nosotros cuatro), la piscina ideal, y el resto de instalaciones, tenis, minigolf, y sobretodo el espacio natural hacían las delicias de nuestros "enanos" que no querí

Hem estat a Can fustegueres per la Revetlla de Sant Joan...La casa és molt maca, neta i te tots els detalls necessaris per una estada tranquila i agradable. Porteu banyador per gaudir de la piscina, carbó per fer una barbacoa... i si teniu sort podreu anar a segar amb el Sr Joan i el seu tractor.
Moltes gràcies al Joan i la seva familia, hem estat com a casa.

Aquest pont passat hem anat una colla d´amics
a passar uns dies i tot ha estat perfecte.En Joan i la Roser han sigut molt atents amb tots nosaltres i ens feien sentir com si estiguéssim a casa, un tracte molt familiar que s´agraeix moltíssim, uns menjars excel.lents (quin tip de menjar que ens hem fet però com tot estava tan bo...), les habitacions perfectes i confortables.
Gràcies per fer-nos passar uns dies tan agradables. Fins aviat!!!
És una casa que us la recomano sense cap dubte.

La Roser i en Joan et fan l´estada molt agradable, et tracten de manera molt familiar i propera, et donen tota la informació que necessites. El fet de sopar i esmorçar tots els hostes en una mateixa taula, fet sorprenent i insòlit per a nosaltres, fa que una comoditat per a ells esdevingui un foment de convivència i amistat sorprenent en els temps que corren.
