The owner´s comments
Welcome to Omana, one of the most unspoilt regions in the mountains of Leon. We invite you to discover it from our rural houses located in these privileged surroundings. Come and explore the peaceful woods and paths.

The tourism rural center "El Urogallo" is situated the Murias de Paredes in Omaña area in the Cantabric mountains, in the nort of the province of León. Omaña area is Biosphere Reserve (Man and Biosphere Program- Unesco)

This area present an excellent conservation of forest and it has a excellent wildlife: capercaille, brown bear, wolf, great variety of birds and many species of Cantabrian wildlife.

El Urogallo It is built in a 19th century traditional stone house with slate roof, typical of the Omana region.

The house, built on three levels has 24 beds. On the ground floor there is a reception area, restaurant and lounge with an open fire. On the first floor there are four double rooms and a quadruple room, all with en-suite bathroom. On the second floor there is a triple bedroom and a separate apartment that sleeps six in two separate bedrooms and has a separate sitting room and en-suite bathroom. All the bedrooms have views to the valley, the river Omana and a beech wood.

The house is surrounded by a landscaped garden with trees and bushes typical of this region. The house has gas central heating and it is equipped with  tv, video, and a hi-fi.. [ more

Leche, cafe, colacao, zumo, jamón, madal... more

[ more

2.00  No lo recomiendo si no cenas..., by: Roberto  -  usr206976,  28/Apr/2007
[ more

  5.00  estancia fantástica, by: Amadeo y Sara  -  usr207702,  18/Feb/2007
