"The House of the Light" is located on a wonderful spot at the edge of the village of Bubión. From the living room and the spacious terrace of Casa de la Luz you have a marvellous view onto the Poqueira Valley. When the weather is very clear you even can admire the sight of the Mediterranean sea and the mountains of Afrika.
This house is built a few years ago in the tipical Alpujarreñan style with flat roofs, ceilings with wooden beams and round chimneys. Sometimes sheep will be grazing on the field in front of the house.
At little distance of the house there are various restaurants, pubs and a supermarket. It is the ideal place for people looking for peaceful place to stay. The house is stylishly decorated with a mixture of antique and modern furniture.
The house has a central heating system and an open fireplace. There are two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with bath tub, a spacious living room with a beautiful terrace facing south-west..
We had a lovely week in Bubion. It was easy to wind down and relax in this quiet spot with its gentle pace of life. This is a good place to be based if you like walking - there are lots of walks you can do in the Poqueira valley and beyond from the doorstep.. Granada was an easy day trip in the car. The house is very comfortable, well equipped and has great views from the sun terrace.. Janny and Manuel are good hosts and provide a warm welcome. We have no hesitation in recommending Casa de la Luz!
Estupenda casa, con el barranco del Poqueira como referencia y el pueblo de Bubion a sus pies.
La decoracion y el equipamiento con muchos detalles de buen gusto y personalidad.
La zona es espectacular para los amantes -es mi caso -del paisaje y la fotografia.
El pueblo de Bubion, donde se encuentra la casa, quizas sea el mas autentico de la zona y la tranquilidad reina en sus callejuelas y plazas. Volviendo a la casa, mi hija - siete años - recordara el cajon con juguetes de su habitacion.

Hemos pasado una semana en La alpujarra, en Bubion, en la casa de "La luz". Una bonita y acogedora casa. Nos encantó la zona, sus bonitos pueblos, los cuales llegamos a conocer gracias a la amabilidad de los dueños. La casa es muy acogedora y tranquila, con unas maravillosas vistas desde su terraza.

Location très agréable. Propriétaires très accueillants, disponibles bien que discrets.
Excellente adresse pour découvrir la région.
