Located in a magnificent natural setting, Las Carretas perfectly combines pure nature and an ancient urban life. This is a perfectly restored 17th-century country house with all the modern day comforts, without forgetting our past.
It is situated in the centre of picturesque villages and superb scenery such as Alarcón or Las Hoces del Cabriel, and only 25 minutes from the capital Cuenca.
Ideal for those keen on history and nature. And also for those who appreciate the taste of its excellent wines, cheeses and oils, I have prepared a selection visits to some of the best wine producers and cooperatives in the area, when you can discover the secrets of our tastes, right at their very source.
I have not forgotten those who search for a little action and adventure, because I have managed to obtain some free tickets so that you can enjoy the buggies, horse riding, archery, paintball and a few other surprises.

Ocupamos la casa entera y estuvo genial. El trato formidable y las atenciones de Jorge un 10. Nos compró pan para cenar y desayunar y nos preparo la barbacoa para que cenáramos el día de la llegada. La casa es una maravilla con todo lo que podáis necesitar y más. Una calefacción excelente. El patio genial para hacer barbacoas aunque estemos en pleno invierno. La cocina una maravilla. La casa es preciosa y está muy limpia, el dueño (Jordi) te explica todo lo que quieras saber sobre qué sitios a visitar y es muy amable. En los alrededores del pueblo hay lugares preciosos y también se pueden realizar actividades como: piragüa, montar a caballo, rutas en bici. Desde luego que repetiremos.

Hemos ido un grupo de 9 chicas y todas estamos de acuerdo en que es la casa rural más bonita y acogedora en la que hemos estado. Además de la decoración, ciudada al detalle, la casa está muy bien equipada y Jorge se empeña en hacerte sentir como en tu casa de verdad. Te dan ganas de quedarte allí! (Os lo aseguro, un fin de semana es muy corto!)
Para rematar, Almodovar es un pueblito muy tranquilo y su gente es especialmente encantadora, (en el pub, el cura, la gente por la calle...).. Lo que dic

Não sei o que mais destacar. Se a afabilidade, a disponibilidade ou a casa. Qualquer destes predicados ou a habitação, satisfizeram-nos plenamente.
O Jordi (Jorge) foi inexcedível. Pronto para nos guiar. Sempre com boas maneiras.Um acolhimento a que não estou habituado em Espanha, principalmente a nós portugueses.
A casa está muito acolhedora e decorada com bom gosto.
Um bem haja ao Jordi.

No princípio foi arrepiante... pensámos todos para dentro, é aqui que vamos dormir? Mas quando entrámos na casa a paixão por aquele ambiente fantasticamente decorado deixou-nos sem palavras. Depois, bom depois, foi o Jorge!... Com a sua educação e bem saber receber encantou-nos de tal forma que não resistimos em ir beber umas Mahous com ele. (e que bem souberam!...)
Aos Portugueses aconselhamos vivamente uma passagem por Almodóver del Pinar e, naturalmente, pela casa Las Carretas.
