The complex has 10 double rooms, 2 suites, 3 apartments sleeping up to 6 people in each, 22 complete bathrooms with a hydrotherapy shower and several cots (at no additional cost) and extra beds (maximum 1 per room at a cost of 30 EUR per night.
The Apartments are situated within the rural complex, surrounded by gardens, and each one sleeps 4 or 6 people, ideal for families or groups that know how to appreciate and enjoy rural tourism and at the same time not have to go without all the modern day comforts.
We offer our guests a spacious Restaurant in which our main protagonist is the firewood oven, used for the majority of our dishes with the aim of satisfying the most demanding diners, and, at the same time, ensuring that our guests feel at home.
Applying the same quality that we have in the dishes offered in our restaurant, we also have La Cueva, where in candle light you can enjoy a lovely meal in one of these large underground dining areas.
We are aware of the many needs of Companies who wish to organise their conventions, meetings, presentations, etc, in a comfortable and functional setting, and at the same time having the added attraction of being in a natural environment, and therefore, we have the necessary infrastructure to provide companies with all the technical means, as well as suitably sized facilities to cater for each of their needs. In Casa de las Médicas, the exclusive personality of each of the rooms has been achieved thanks to the scenery reflected on its walls that evoke the different seasons and present not only the originality of each of the rooms, but also a warm and comfortable atmosphere.
You can choose between ten rooms and two suites, each very different and with its own special charm.

Interesting Places
Buendía is an important medieval village in the Alcarria of Cuena, situated on the banks of the reservoir with the same name and bordering with the province of Guadalajara, Only an hour and a half away from Madrid and one hour from Cuenca.
Close to the village, there are the archaeological remains of Recópolis, the true origin of Buendía, a Visigothic settlement between the rivers Tajo and Guadiela. Nearby, we find large pine forests and some magnificent natural scenery around the reservoir , where we can do watersports and also fishing.
In the surrounding area, you can go hiking, rural tourism, bicycle routes, etc.

¡Hola!, somos Javier y Azucena, hemos estado alojados en La casa de las Médicas este pasado mes de Mayo y el trato ha sido excepcional. La decoración de las habitaciones está al detalle, el trato del personal muy cercano y amable, y la comida ¡Increíble!. El nuevo cocinero Alberto, al que aprovechamos para mandarle un saludo y otro para su ayudante, nos trató muy bien, nos preparó unos platos exquisitos, interesándose personalmente por nuestros gustos culinarios. Fuimos esta semana santa dos noches y nos encanto, tiene una decoración estupenda, está muy limpio y se come muy bien, ideal tambien para descansar no se oye por la noche ni un ruido, y el trato del personal muy amable, en su restaurante se come de maravilla, y dispone de un salón muy grande donde poder estar si vais con mas parejas jugando a algún juego, tienen varios, o charlando tomando una copa, el pueblo es muy bonito y los alrededores son un lujo para los amantes de la naturaleza, impresci

hola!!estas pascuas 08,pude estar en un buen apartamento!!!la verdad tiene de todo!son grandes y calentitos.todo todo nos gusto,y la cena en el restaurante buf! que decir todo buenisimo!como el mismo nombre dice:siempre tienes un buendia.lo rekomiendo!el pueblo es super tranquilo...tienes la presa que es muy bonita el agua es azul.y si haces multiturismo,ir con la canoha por esas aguas no tiene precio.bueno espero que vayais.es muy bonito.

Estuvimos en el puente del pilar y hemos vuelto este fin de semana pasado y os aseguro que volveremos,el pueblo es muy bonito y mucha tranquilidad,perfecto si llevais chicos,las habitaciones te sorprenderan por su decoracion"todas son distintas" y muy confortables"se duerme de maravilla" con ducha de hidromasaje,el restaurante buenisimo.Sus entrantes,pescados elaborados,su cochinillo,su san jacobo y postres.Uhh.Gran variedad de vinos,luego cafe,chupitos,risas con los camareros,unas fotos y cub
