The Casa Rural Las Aguardas is situated in the Las Aguardas street, one of the oldest and most mysterious streets in Belmonte, which gets its name from being the scene of ancient duels.. The house is to be found in the two parks of the town and forty metres from the swimming pool.
It is a large stone brick country house adapted to the local architecture and the surrounding countryside. It has two floors and offers a lounge-dining room with a fireplace and library, a fully equipped kitchen which can be used by guests and WCs. On the top gabled floor we find four en-suite rooms, each of them decorated differently and evoking times gone by. On request, there is the possibility of another room.
It comes with all kinds of comforts, and blends in with the countryside and stately atmosphere, leaving behind all your daily problems and the hustle and bustle. Its rustic and comfortable decoration combines at the same time with the hospitality of the region, offering its guests all the tranquillity and attraction of the area, the placid light of its landscape and the superb beauty of its streets and monuments.

Interesting Places
It is located in Belmonte, the birthplace of Fray Luis de León and a recreation area for Prince Don Juan Manuel. The famous 15th century Belmonte Castle is one of the many other monuments that offer a unique historical route..
From Las Aguardas you will be able to visit the monasteries and convents, the local museums, the Jewish quarters with its narrow, steep winding streets, bringing back memories of the ancient town. The splendid San Bartolomé Collegiate Church, the Infante Don Juan Manuel Palace and other living jewels of our heritage.
Likewise, you will be able to combine the peace and quiet of nature in the Manchego area and its country gastronomy with the lively night life of the bars and pubs .
Plan excursions to other suggestive nearby places, such as the Mota del Cuervo Wind Mills, the hidden beauty of Villaescusa de Haro, El Toboso and the Don Quixote route that crosses the area, or the famous Roman ruins of Segóbriga.
Your visit will only come up against one disadvantage: you will find that a weekend is just too short.
It connects with the motorway to Valencia, which is only 34 kilometres away from the junction at Almarcha and, also, with the N 301 road, which is only 16 kilometres from Mota del Cuervo
