The Casa Rural Tia Pilar is a stunning and elegant house, a perfect location in which to unwind while enjoying the charming and relaxed ambience typical of Castilla La Mancha.. Tia Pilar’s s qualities have now been nationally recognised with the recent award of the Category of Tres Espigas the maximum official level for tourist rural accommodation in Spain.
Situated right in the centre of the majestic town of Almagro, the house enjoys a privileged location only a few metres from the town’s famous Plaza Major and Corral de Comedias. This stunning location allows visitors to quickly lose themselves in the town’s historic streets and to experience a few days of the magic of La Mancha at first hand.
The building’s origins can in fact, be traced back to the 17th Century through documentation and writings preserved through the generations, though it has recently undergone a meticulous and sympathetic restoration. This process has managed to keep the original structure and features intact while also providing all the modern comforts that today’s traveller requires.
In addition to its delightful guest rooms, Casa Rural Tia Pilar has several areas within its 800 sq metres set aside for common use, including 4 beautiful courtyards, an open air swimming pool, solarium and a large dining room with wood fire. Each area contributes to the relaxed and laid back atmosphere for which the Casa Rural Tia Pilar and Almagro in particular are well known.
Each of the guest rooms has it’s on own individual personality, style and décor. Double rooms are all equipped with an ensuite bathroom and hydro-massage shower-rooms are also available. Also, with heating and air conditioning as standard, they can be enjoyed in any season of the year. Further facilities include TV, DVD, stereo and Internet access in each room. Common areas include a beautiful library, lounge, living room, kitchen and dining room complete with a wood fire.

It´s a fantastic place to spend a few days, ancient decoration, romantic, very clean and comfortable, with all modern accomodation (special shower, internet...). Different patios to spend time and take the sun. We were in the room (all are different) called Las vigas, I think the best one. The breakfast is gorgeous, you won´t forget it!

Myself, my wife and our baby spent St Patrick´s weekend in Tia Pilar following a friends´s recommendation, and we couldn´t be happier with our choice. Beautiful rooms, great food and very friendly patrons who offer plenty of advice about what to do& see in Almagro and its surroundings. We´ll be coming back for our next trip to Spain.

Hemos pasado el puente del 1 de Mayo en la casa Tia Pilar. Nos ha maravillado la casa del siglo XVII, a mi en concreto me ha recordado la casa del pueblo de mis abuelos, llena de antiguedades. Esta perfectamente ambientada y tiene todas las comodidades (climatización, nevera, televisión, hidromasaje,...). El trato por parte de la señora Consuelo ha sido exquisito. Celebrábamos nuestro 12 aniversario de boda y acertamos plenamente con el lugar: Almagro, que ya lo conocíamos, y la Casa Tía Pilar, que fué una sorpresa especial. Todo nos gustó: la arquitectura, la decoración, la amplitud, la amabilidad de la sra.. Consuelo, la dueña, nos ha dado un trato personal, excepcional dentro del marco de su casa rural que puedo calificar como de cinco estrellas superior. Una decoración muy cuidada, una casa amplísima y excelentemente dotada. ¿que mas puedo pedir?
