The Rural Apartments La Peña, are situated in the heart of the Ambroz Valley, close to the Jerte and La Vera Valleys. The surrounding area makes it a privilege setting: mountain streams that flow down through the numerous gorges, huge forests of alder, ash, chestnut trees ..., natural nearby swimming areas, all make up an unbeatable setting that will be a pleasant surprise to visitors to the area.
The apartments are located in a traditional building which was constructed as a travellers´ hotel at the end of the 19th century.
The front of the building overlooks an area of hundred-year-old chestnut trees. On the first floor we find a bar-restaurant, offering traditional food and a social lounge with a fireplace. Underground, there is a wine cellar with Extremadura style domes.
The rural apartments are on the two top floors, and have superb views and a high standard of comfort.
They provide accommodation for groups of 2, 3 or 4 people and are fully equipped with all modern-day facilities to guarantee you have a very pleasant stay.
