The construction is typical of the Vera District, with stone walls, wooden framework and adobe (clay and straw bricks, dried in the sun) All the walls of the cabin are 60 centimetres thick to protect them from the cold and heat

In the heart of the Vera District, in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos and on the "Route of the Emperor Carlos V" towards the Yuste Monastery, we find Las Cabañas de la Vera.
A paradise of intertwining routes, ideal for discovering, contemplating, visiting and adventures. Numerous natural pools, magnificent deep gorges, oak and chestnut tree forests, as well as the delightful unique spectacle of the cherry tree in full bloom.
As Unamuno once said: Among the valleys and forests, the sun and the water paint pictures with intense colours in each and every one of the seasons, reaching its maximum splendour with the dawning of spring. Scenery, which is engulfed by nature, colour and life, which give the Vera district its uniqueness, which is not easy to be repeated or equalled.
We are 500 metres from Aldeanueva and 1,500 metres from Jarandilla.

Hemos estado la primera semana de septiembre y ha sido estupendo, estan muy bien equipadas, espaciosas y limpias, ni que decir de las instalaciones, muy bien cuidadas y una piscina de pelicula, muy muy limpia, mi hija y mi sobrina han disfrutado mucho. Los alrededores estupendos, con tantas gargantas con piscinas naturales y un bonito paisaje. Eso si hay que llevar ropa de abrigo nunca se sabe que puede pasar con el tiempo. estuvimos en las cabañas la última semana de Agosto y no lo pasamos fenomenal, las casas super límpias, ámplias, independientes y sin pasar nada de calor. Los niños disfrutaron mucho en las piscinas. El entorno precioso.
Hemos estado este verano una semana disfrutando de este alojamiento como de la comarca, y ha sido maravilloso. Ellugar, idilico, la atención, perfecta y hemos vuelto relajados y encantados. Dispuestos a repetir. Si alguien tiene dudas a la horade reservar, que no las tenga, porque no le van a defraudar. Un saludo a los propietarios de los padres de la peque de "No gusta gua-gua"

...porque son unas casas fabulosas con una construcción impecable.Con dos niños de 3 y 7 años, esa piscina es ideal. El último día Angel casi nos tuvo que echar a la fuerza a Sergio y a mí. De lo mejorcito que hemos probado en la Vera, el Jerte y el Ambroz.

Hemos estado un fin de semana en junio en las cabañas y quedamos encantados.Las casas comodas,limpias y muy bonitas.Las vistas maravillosas.El entorno precioso,y que decir de la tranquilidad y la recien estrenada piscina,algo espectacular.Mención especial al trato de los dueños (Angel y Lourdes)muy amables y pendientes de todo.Recomendadas para todos los publicos,"volveremos".
