Casa Crisol is situated in an area called "campito", surrounded by oak, pine and chestnut trees. There are 5 cottages and the Casa Grande (Main House), where we have the reception, a communal lounge, a dining room and two rooms with an independent entrance, a porch and a garden.. The construction of the cottages has been inspired by Celt and mountain buildings (stone, wood, wood waxen); and therefore, each of them is given the Celt name of a tree (also identified in the scenery): Cabaña Col, Cabaña Ura, Cabaña Druir, Cabaña Muin and Cabaña Ohn .. Inside each cottage one can enjoy all 21st Century comforts in a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.
They are situated 1 km from Arenas de San Pedro (Avila), 140 km from Madrid, 130 km from Toledo and 75 from Avila . In the heart of the Tietar Valley, on its northern slope, overlooked by the great Gredos Mountains, with the Galayos, Mira and other remarkably high peaks. This unique geographical location has a Mediterranean microclimate with the typical flora of a mild climate.. We can enjoy the numerous rivers with clear crystalline water and the outstanding ecological and cultural routes, offering you the ideal accommodation to disconnect from the outside world.

Swimming in the crystalline water of the Gredos gorges
From Madrid go along the Extremadura N-V road as far as Talavera de la Reina.
- Turn off at km 123 towards Avila along the N-502
- Go as far as Ramacastañas where you will find a signpost for Arenas de San Pedro.
- In Arenas de San Pedro go past the petrol station and take the first road on the left, carrying on along that road for around 200 m, where you will see the Cristo chapel on the left.
- Go right around the chapel and up until to see a secondary school directly opposite you.
- Here there is a sign for "Crisol".
- Follow this sign, going over a small bridge and on the right you will find the last signpost for Crisol, which will take you directly to the house.
- Apart from the last 150 m the whole route is tarmacked.
From Avila take the N- 502 which will take you directly to Arenas de San Pedro.
- Once you reach the village, go past the first roundabout until you come to a second roundabout. Take the turning towards Talavera de la Reina along the N-502.
- The take the second road on the right, around 200 m further on.
- You will find the Cristo chapel on the left, go right around the chapel and up until to see a secondary school directly opposite you, where there is a sign for "Crisol".
- Follow this sign, going over a small bridge and on the right you will find the last sign for Crisol which will take you directly to the house.
- Apart from the last 150 m the whole route is tarmacked.

LLegamos ayer de pasar una semana en este sitio tan maravilloso que forma Miguel, Maiki y el peque aparte de Leo y Bequer. Tanto Tere como Noa, si pudiera hablar, nos diría lo maravilloso que han sido estos días de tranqulidad,de esos buenísimos desyunos y esas cenitas con velas y estupendas comidas.. Pero, sin duda la calidad humana de Miguel y su familia,
es acojante. Yo sin duda lo recomiendo al personal que le guste el contacto con las buenas personas, a la vez que unas instalaciones buenísm

Este finde hemos estado en las cabañas crisol, el sitio es una pasada, en plena naturaleza pero muy cerquita de arenas, mucha tranquilidad, la cabaña muy acogedora, el desayuno en el jardín muy bueno, ideal para parejas y unos dias de relax, y por supuesto el dueño muy atento y simpático.para mi ha sido un finde perfecto pero lo mejor y lo mas especial ha sido la compañía qlo ha hecho todo mas bonito divertido y entretenido .

Bueno, nosotros ya es la cuerta vez que vamos y no será la última, estamos encantados con este sitio que es de ensueño para nosotros, dos días allí y te quitas el extres para dos meses por lo menos, muchas gracias Miguel por el trato que recibimos siempre. Es especial el sitio, Los desayunos, las cenas,la gente,
los perros (que creo que lo superaré algún día), Volveremos.

Mire este foro y no me lo queria creer que fuese tan especial y este fin de semana me he dado cuenta de que es muy agradable y el trato inmejorable, te hacen sentir en tu casa. Yo soy algo exigente y me ha encantado si quiero un hotel de 5 estrellas voy, pero estas cabañas tiene algo muy especial, lo recomiendo. Todo lo que se dice aqui es cierto.

Hemos estado en Crisol, este finde del 23 al 25 de Mayo, aun sin acompañar el tiempo nos lo hemos pasado genial! El sitio una maravilla, la cabaña muy acogedora (aunque algo humeda)
y que decir de la cena y los desayunos...INCREIBLES!
Miguel volveremos, que tnemos que conocer a ese precios@ labrador que tendras en breve, jejej.Saludos!
