Hospedería Los Palmitos is located in a natural setting, so that you can feel a part of nature in its purest sense, a refuge of peace and quiet between the sea and the mountain, offering you an experience that will break the daily monotony and become a true cure for all that stress.
The family that owns the accommodation is from the area and will offer you a very friendly atmosphere so that your stay will be as pleasant as possible. It is built on 33,000 m2 of land and on the farmland called "Los Puertas", on the road to Escullos, ALP-826, 300m from the junction with the San José road, in the municipality of Níjar, within the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Nature Reserve.
It is ideally situated in the park, enabling you to move about and get to know the area easily. Towards the east, it is only 4 km away from Los Escullos and the Isleta del Moro, 7km away from Rodalquilar, 9 km from Las Negras.. In the direction, towards the south, we are only 1 km from Pozo de los Frailes, 4 km from San Jose, 5 km from Genoveses and Monsul and 10 km from Cabo de Gata.

The Cabo de Gata-Níjar Nature Reserve is situated at the extreme western part of the Gulf of Almería. Its 29,000 hectares of land are divided up into 2 clearly defined areas : the coast , made up of sand dunes, salt marshes, coves and the Sierra de Cabo de Gata, of volcanic origin
The high temperatures and the very little rainfall have produced a type of flora that needs very little water for long periods of time, such as the jujube. There is also a large population of the only autochthonous palm tree of the European continent: the Palmito
Within the wide and varied community of bird life (with more than 169 recognized species), we must mention the flamingo, the trumpeter finch, the perdicero eagle, the avocet and the stork.. Among the reptiles we find the Jeweled Lacerta and the Viper

Somos una familia con dos niños que hemos estado 5 días en un apartamento de los Palmitos. Nuestra valoración de las instalaciones, la limpieza y el trato es inmejorable. Tranquilidad y buena situación para explorar toda la zona.
Los dueños y personal muy buena gente, las habitaciones y las zonas "comunes" muy bien cuidadas, detalles agradables, y todo muy limpio.
Buena ubicación, aunque no esté en la playa, en coche se llega en seguida a playas impresionantes y a varias poblaciones.
Ninguna queja.

Hemos estado mi novio y yo hace unos dias y la verdad que al ver el apartamento nos quedamos sin palabras. Todo perfecto,la habitación de lujo,la cocina con todo equipado,el cuarto de baño precioso y lo mejor es que estaba todo limpísimo.. En cuanto podamos volveremos. No es nada caro para la preciosidad que es, y esta en una zona magnifica. Os lo recomiendo.

La verdad es que más no se puede pedir. Todo es para darle un 10: la habitación, los detalles de decoración, la limpieza, los desayunos y por último la terraza en la que una cena a la luz de las velas fué todo un detalle.. Volveremos el proximo año o al menos lo intentaremos.

El Alojamento es magnifico, la habitación esta totalmente equipada, el trato del personal excelente, y el desayuno en la cafeteria muy bueno. Solo nos quedamos una noche porque estaba completo, pero es un sitio recomendable para repetir y pasar unos dias tranquilos en el cabo de gata.
