Dear friends: if you ask me a what my village, Alcalalí, is like, I shall have to speak of the magic which surrounds it, captivating everyone who visits its valley, La Vall de Pop. So much so, that is extremely difficult for me to find the right words to describe it and therefore, instead of attempting such a bold feat, I prefer to invite you to come and see it and feel it personally, enjoy it with your own eyes and feelings. Then you can tell me what you think...
Alcalalí ands its Valley are brimming with the beauty or its scenery, always full of an intense blue sky and radiant luminosity.. "Rius-raus" orchards ande vineyards, country lanes and paths flanked by almond trees, vines, rose bushes or orange of the breeze. In the village, people expert in harmony, peace, love and hospitality always greet us warmly ande affectionately when we meet them. It is as if the visitor who arrives had always been here, as he does not feel like a stranger...
The wine harvest, the festivities, our handicrafts, monuments, cave paintings, prehistoric caves, Moors and Christians, wines, unimaginable local cuisine, street markets, the purest Mediterranean essence of its people, history and tradition...
You ask me about Alcalalí, and the answer is in...Alcalalí itself
Fondest regards
