The owner´s comments
Casa Mosmai is placed in the countryside,
5 km. from the beaches of Altea and near of many other interestig places to visit, like Benidorm, Calpe, Guadalest, Tárbena, Aitana mountainrange and the fountains of the Algar river.
It is built on 12.000 square meters of farmland, used for organic growing of avocados and woodland. In the construction of the house, finished in 2004, materials that conform sustainability criteria haved been used. Its design and furnishings recalls the style of Valencian houses of the first half of the twentieth century.
The upper half of the house is the dwelling of the owners. The lower part consists of four rooms with en suite bathroom, kitchen, dining room and living room with fireplace.. Both parts have their own access, so the house could be booked as bed and breakfast or self catering.
For those people who cannot travel without their pets, we offer one double room with en suite bathroom located beside the house. Our clients can use the car parking and the swimming pool and enjoy the terraces with views on the sea and the mountains.
Trekking to Serra Bèrnia (3 km.), at an altitude of 1.150 m. The road takes to a picnic area at 700 m.. Nearer the summit there are the remnants of an old castle.
Trekking to Serra Aitana (25 km.), at an altitude of 1.550 m. The road takes to a picnic area with a fountain, at 1.000 m.
Visit to Guadalest (20 km.), a small and charming moorish village.
Visit to Tàrbena (17 km.), small village in the mountain that was inhabited by Mallorca people after throwing out the last moorish in the XVIII century.

Walking around the confluence of the Algar and Guadalest rivers (500 m.), protected humid zone.

Visit to l’Olla d’Altea beach (6 km.), with narrow, warm and quite waters.
Visit to l’Albir beach (10 km.), with brave, clean and refreshing waters.
Visit to Benidorm beaches (20 km.), famous by its sand, water and services.
Visit to the beach and cliffs of Calp (20 km.) where diving can be practiced

He pasado una corta semana en Casa Mosmai. Apenas conocía las playas de Alicante y desconocía por completo la zona montañosa y de sierras bajas del interior.
Y ambas -la casa y la zona- han resultado una excelente sorpresa. La casa es muy cómoda, sobria y con esa elegancia acogedora de las buenas casas de campo. La zona es un lujo de perspectivas y de olores de frutales.

Gracias por el fin de semana de lujo que hemos pasado.La casa es muy bonita y en plena naturaleza rodeado del huerto que Toni cuida con gran esfuerzo.Se esta estupendo en la piscina mientras tomas una bebida fresquita.Gracias por los consejos de Belen y de Toni en la barbacoa.Es un alojamiento estupendo.
Estuvimos en julio un grupo de amigos con los niños, y bueno, nos quedamos con ganas de quedarnos allí una semana más. La casa con todas las comodidades, piscina, decoración escogida y personal, los dueños muy amables, huerto y vitas al mar. En fin, aconsejable 100%. Espero volver!
¡Qué pasada de casa! Es ideal para ir en grupo de amigos ya que cada habitación tiene su propio cuarto de baño y da mucha independencia. La habitaciones son muy amplias y caban perfectamente cunas de viaje. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para que la estancia sea superagradable. Lo pasamos fenomenal. No dudeis en consultar a Belén y Toni por rutas turísticas y gastronómicas. Nosotros lo hicimos y fue un éxito. Muchas gracias a los dos y a ver si repetimos en verano.

Estuvimos solo un fin de semana un grupo de 7, con 2 niños y perra incluida, y nos quedaron muchas ganas de prolongar la estancia. La casa es mucho mas bonita que en las fotos... y las vistas tambien fenomenales. Ademas los dueños son encantadores. Nos ayudaron a hacer unas estupendas barbacoas ya que el tiempo acompañaba. Cuando dispongamos de mas tiempo volveremos, seguro. Saludos a Belen, Toni y Chiqui.
