Situated next to the local parish Church building (c. 1731 A.D.) and at the point of highest elevation of Villoslada de Cameros' town center, the house served during the 1940s as the Town Council and the Public School. Located in a mezzanine with a low ceiling was the town's Cobbler Shop (currently a bedroom in the house). Although not known for certain, the house is said to have been built at the end of the 18th Century.
Refurbished in rock and wooden plank reinforced architecture, maintaining the integrity of its structure and traditional architecture in Cameros, it has the exceptional views of the Cebollera Moutain Range, the place where the River Iregua is birthed. On the lower level there is maintained the original structure of the stables, with wooden mangers and slate walls, as well as the antique "dungeon" where villains would spend the night before being turned in to the bailiffs to be transported to Logroño (the Capital city of La Rioja). The house is completely equipped and, since recently reformed, it is like new.. It is also equipped with a small library.
What is most spectacular about the house are the views from its main sitting room. The natural and rural environs are unbeatable.. On Cebollera Mountain there are, to the north and south, small mountain valleys with rivers and streams running through it. More than half of the park is covered with forest land in a very good state of conservation. It is predominated by beautiful forests of oak trees, beechwood, and wild pine trees. Between October and November the autumn colors are not to be missed. In winter, wonderful walks through the snow await you. In summer enjoy the coolness of the forests and rivers.

Hiking: guided tours of the Sierra de Cebellora National Park; waterfalls at the Puente Ra, the area boundary stone, and the Nava Lagoon. One can see wild boar, various types of deer, eagles, otters, newts, and jumping frogs.

Located in the Cameros Moutains on the N-111 between Logroño and Soria, very close to the Port Piqueras:
1-From Madrid, via the Barcelona highway (A-2) until you reach Medinaceli, where you will veer off in the direction of Soria (N-111). In Soria you will take the road to Logroño (N-111). You will cross Piqueras Port, and when you are descending the Port you will veer off to the left at kilometer 285 (the road to Villoslada de Cameros). Situated approx. 2 km. from this veer off. The town has two entrances: at the top or the bottom.. The total distance is 298 km and the length of the trip is under three (3) hours.
2-From the rest of Spain you arrive by N-111 that runs from Logroño to Soria. The veer off is at Kilometer 285 from N-111.. The distance to Barcelona is 500 km, to Bilbao 200 km, San Sebastian 220 km, and Zaragoza 220 km.

Una C.Rural de excepcional comodidad para toda la familia(8 niños y 11 adultos): todo funcionaba;la sala de la buardilla, super amplia y llena de juegos, que fue tomada íntegramente por los niños;la planta baja, que nos permitió hacer representaciones teatrales y musicales...y las vistas desde cualquier ventana.Y sin olvidar las excursiones a que invita la belleza de la sierra que prácticamente circunda el pueblo.

Hemos estado en noche vieja y año nuevo y la verdad la casa es IMPRESIONANTE en todos los sentido, amplitud, decoracion, ubicacion etc. es para recomendar. Estuvimos 15 personas y todavia habia sitio para otras 5 personas mas.

Hemos estado de maravilla, la casa es mucho más bonita de lo que parece en las fotos. muy antigua y muy bien restaurada. El único fallo es que no tiene equipo de música. por lo demás muy cómoda y bien preparada. Recomendable 100%

Para los que vivimos en una gran ciudad, nos resulta increíble que aún queden lugares así. Donde los sentidos recuperan el tiempo perdido. El sonido de las campanas, del río, de las fuentes, el ladrido de algún perro peridido o el lejano mugido de alguna vaca. El olor del pan recien hecho, de la leña...
