The old grain shop and outhouses have been converted to make 4 separate lodgings:
La Botiga del Gra: the grain shop with 5 places
La Premsa: the building originally housed the farm´s wine press with 6-9 places.. 3 bedrooms, two double, and one triple, each one with ensuite bathroom, two of the bathrooms have hydromassage showers, the third has a bath.
The two outhouses (La Cort and L´Heura) with 4 places each
Each lodging has two bedrooms with double beds, a bathroom, sitting room with dining room, fire place, and kitchen with vitro-ceramic hob, oven, fridge, washing machine, TV with Canal+...
The lodgings have kept their original features:
stone walls
wooden beams
antique furniture
a decoration that succeeds in bringing a rustic yet sophisticated atmosphere, without pretensions

16th Century house (listed building) in the hamlet of Astor. Cal Carulla´s main activity is crop farming, along with the harvesting of almond and walnuts, and forestry.

Hem passat una setmana fantàstica! El tracte amb els propietaris ha estat ideal; els més petits han pogut gaudir del camp, dels animals i fins i tot han pujat a cavall.És un poble amb encant, rural, tranquil i sense cotxes.Nosaltres ens hem allotjat a la Premsa, un allotjament amb totes les comoditats ...i sobretot no es passa gens de calor!!! Hem fet caminades, ens hem banyat a la piscina ,hem conegut altres famílies i hem disfrutat dels sopars a la fresca.De ben segur que repetirem!!!!

Acabem d´arribar de passar uns dies a cal carulla. Ha estat fantàstic, ens ho hem passat tots molt bé, la casa preciosa i acollidora, l´entorn meravellós (poble, paisatge, piscina, sala de jocs, animals...). Tots hem estat molt be, però la nostra filla, que te 3 anys, ha gaudit al màxim, dels animals, de la llibertat de la natura, ha fet amistats...En fi, us asseguro que tornarem aviat (i això que vivim a només mitja hora de camí).. todos tenemos un sueño, el mi se ha cumplido, disfrutar de un hogar donde la televisión no sea necesaria, donde la cobertura del telefon deje de ser primordial, un lugar donde las paredes que te rodean y su silencio te obligan a encontrarte absorto ante una chimenea donde nunca falta leña, donde el tiempo se detiene y las ventanas son maravillosos marcos abiertos a contraste de cielo y tejas que te relajan, donde los pajarillos anidan en los arboles y verlos aterrizar en ellos es un placer.. Fue un fin de semana fantastico,fuimos con los suegros y nuestra hija.Se nos hizo corto,de lo tranquilo que se estaba no teniamos ganas de marcharnos,en cuanto a los dueños un diez,sobre todo cecilia que nos hizo sentir como en casa.

Fantástico. Vaya fin de semana. Estupendo, y eso que estuvimos a más de 3 bajo cero. Josep Maria y Cecilia geniales, nos hicieron sentir como en nuestra casa. No me extraña que los niños (y los mayores) no se quisieran ir el domingo. Sin duda, volveremos.
